This is the best place we have found in Devon for location and quality of the room.
Location wise it is perfect for walking the short distance either to the town shops, quayside pubs or the railway station.  Despite looking as though it might be noisy due to its position we found there was no discernable road noise.
Accommodation wise it starts with a secure car park space, albeit a bit tight, but we always managed to find a space.  The room was spotless, very well proportioned and equipped with everything we needed including a very large and comfortable bed.  Bathroom was more than adequate with a good size walk in shower.
We will aim to stay here again in the future as it ticks all our boxes.

Superb accommodation and location

Stayed the last few nights at Broadway, highly recommend, great location, fabulous rooms. Our stay was for business at the beginning but we factored in a day of Christmas shopping and pampering. Loved the room especially the bathroom with under floor heating. Lovely touch having a decanter of Port ❤️ already rebooked for April. 


Business and pleasure

After a long journey, my room at Broadway guest house was a welcome sight. Very tastefully decorated, with comfortable furnishings and an immaculate modern bathroom. Tea and coffee was replenished daily, and although I didn't touch it, there was a small glass of complimentary port in the room for guests to enjoy at their leisure which I thought was a nice touch. I would thoroughly reccommend to anyone. My only very small critique was that there were a couple of occasions where the access code I received didn't work on the driveway gate or the front door of the property. But a very swift text back from Ros, sorted the issue and I was on my way. I had a belly busting meal at the Nelson inn opposite on my first night - I eat a lot and my starter and main were huge so I was a very happy (and full) man. The second night, I went to the Lighter Inn which is by the quay towards the end of Topsham village. Thanks so much for a relaxing stay.

Exceptional stay!

My wife and I have just returned from a 3 night stay, originally for two but extended as we liked it so much.  Our first choice hotel in Topsham was full but we are now pleased that it was, as we came across Broadway House, a fine Georgian grade 2 listed house.  Just on the edge of the small town but within a few minutes walk of several good cafes, restaurants and pubs.
The room was large with a very comfortable king size bed and large TV, and a modern bathroom with an excellent shower.  Everything was spotless.  Coffee and tea making facilities and a small fridge were available and of a good standard.  Also, a small decanter of port was left for us, a nice touch.  

Parking for up to five cars is available and we left ours parked for the duration and relied upon our feet plus bus and train to and from Exeter, only about 15 minutes.  Topsham is a lovely historic town and the choice of restaurants is good and varied for a small town, and has several antique and other interesting shops plus a very popular antique warehouse on the quay.

Value for money is excellent when compared with similar quality hotels, without the rush to get to breakfast.  We were happy to be out of the room by the 10.30 a.m. limit to get the room serviced daily.  

I recommend Broadway  House without hesitation and look forward to returning.

Nice well earned break

Great room in a lovely Georgian house in Topsham. The decor was fabulous and in really lovely condition. The room & facilities were very good and the modern bathroom with wet room shower felt very luxurious. The decanter of port in the room was a nice touch. Will definitely stay again.

Luxurious rooms & attention to detail 

Don’t be deceived by the room photos as its one room shown, The room we stayed i n had no amenities, very small room and very small beds twin. Child size the bathroom was very small and if you are a larger person good luck having a shower, there was no refrigerator in the room, and no space to swing a cat. Would i stay there again NO, would tell my friends NO. There was no host or hostess to  see. Just lots of signs telling you what to do or not do. Only saving grace was the large window. Very poor and below standard

Disappointing

We stayed for one night in room two. It was a lovely room with excellent facilities and a huge really comfortable bed. We will definitely stay there again, and recommend it. The hotel is very close to the station and all the bars and restaurants in Topsham but manages to be very quiet too. There is limited parking which we were lucky enough to be able to use but not guaranteed, it’s quite a small courtyard But it’s great to have the option.

Fantastic room in a good location

Very pleasant, clean and tidy.good location， near to the topsham village, close to all shops。very good view from the bedroom window. There is a bit of noise from the next room, seems sound proof need some improvement.however, very satisfied with the stay.
