Lovely room overlooking harbour. Big bed and clean shower with plenty of towels provided. Breakfast on top of price of room served in Mackays restaurant downstairs which was delicious.  Friendly staff. We will be back!

Good value

We booked this, making the decision to pay  more than some of the other Eyemouth businesses, as there was a hot tub and we felt it would be nice to use this. Also looked forward to a sea view. 
At check in we weren't shown any of the facilities, the room and shared toilet were pointed to and the lady left to go to use her phone in the decking area. Although when we called her back to ask about the parking we had booked, she did say there wasn't any and we could park in the supermarket car park. We asked if we could get a ticket and she shrugged her shoulders and said probably not. This was NOT the private parking we had hoped for and were promised.
The entrance to the accommodation was through an external door and another door, we were told they don't lock and just make sure we closed them at night. I felt particularly vulnerable with this-considering I had to leave my locked room during the night to head to the toilet. Anyone could be lurking there.
The decking area is in disrepair with broken steps and shabby, dirty furniture. The hot tub looked pretty neglected and there were no signs to advise on the use of this. We opened the lid and decided not to bother, it was lukewarm and full of sand. 
The room overlooked the street, not a sea view, and was so noisy that we didn't get any sleep at all. It also had a shared bathroom-a no no for me, I would never have booked this had I known! The bathroom was pretty dirty, the toilet was grotty with brown stains, the handtowel had brown stuff on it and there were no  signs to advise how to work the shower.
We had booked with booking.com and there was no reference to the fact that this was a room only booking. A lesson learned for me! Although there were two signs advising the times and whereabouts of the breakfast in our room. I was dismayed that we were refused breakfast as this was a room only booking. 
All in all a really expensive mistake for me, had we booked across the road I would have had a lovely breakfast, a nice sea view and secure accommodation as well as an extra £30 in my pocket(the room was £10 cheaper and it cost me £20 to buy breakfast).
It is safe to say I will definitely not be back, pretty poor show and marketing by omission .

Very disappointed.

Booked into The Bantry in Eyemouth for a 2 night break with my hubby. The room we had was room 3 so had a great view of the bay etc. It wasn't massive, but well laid out and had everything we needed. The window seat was a great idea and it enabled us to sit there and just watch the sea and chill. Must mention the breakfast which is served in the restaurant below the B&B. It was very good indeed, all well cooked and plenty of choice. All in all, a great little place. I'd definitely go back.

Great

Had a few days at the Bantry b+b really good very very clean lots to do around, fishing on the doorstep breakfast to die for. View of the sea from the balcony with lots of seats. Bird life from the balcony. The staff big thank you for being lovely we all really loved it. Must try the ice cream 

Great place

Our 1st visit to this amazing place and definitely not our last. Stunning views of the harbour. The most comfy bed ever. My favourite part was sitting in the decking pod looking over the sea and watching the sun setting. It really was a good as it sounds. Friendly staff and great breakfast.
