Gorgeous 2 night stay here. Quirky compact accommodation , ideal if you want a peaceful relaxing break. Lovely and clean, warm and comfortable.  Well equipped kitchen, immaculate shower room and comfortable bed. Would certainly recommend. If you do decide a stay here book the Pheasant Inn( 10 minute walk) for a meal, food was fabulous!

Relaxing break

We stayed in the ‘Woodland’ Posh Hut for one night and absolutely loved the experience. It’s tucked away with a stunning view. The only noises are the birds and the sheep in the neighbouring field!

We loved the fire pit and complimentary marshmallows!

The bed was super comfy and the lack of wifi in this particular hut was a massive plus point - we properly relaxed for the first time in ages.

Paula is a wonderful host!

Recommend the black cock pub a two money walk away - lovely, welcoming staff and decent pub grub (vegan options too!)

Gorgeous shepherd’s hut in beautiful surrounds

We stayed in Meadow View for two nights. The hut and its garden could be very pretty, but I’m afraid they are tired and neglected. The hut needs a good deep clean especially in the kitchen and shelves at head of the bed. Too much clutter. The underfloor heating did not seem to be working and the radiator seemed to work erratically. The curtains were thin, tired voile which let the light in. The towels were past their best.
However the bed was very comfortable and the shower powerful and clean .
Outside was the most disappointing, the grass needed a cut and a weed. The lanterns and ornaments were rusty and some broken items were shoved under the hut. The garden furniture was exceedingly poor, old mismatched and not fit for use-fortunately we’d brought our own camping chairs. Even the lovely dovecote was wonky. 
The directions to the hut were vague, once we got to Falstone we had to ask in the pub where they were as they were never marketed under Falstone Barns. Luckily a local knew they were the same place.
I think to call them ‘Posh huts’ is disgenuine, ‘Tired Huts’ would be more accurate. We paid £240 for two nights in September, that’s a posh price for lack luster accommodation.

Disappointed

Stayed last night as a quiet night away, surprise for my wife as it's her 50th tmrw & we both needed a break from kids & work etc. Wonderful stay- lovely cosy, comfortable accommodation, idyllic peaceful setting, welcoming host- cannot be faulted. On the edge of a small, quiet village with just 1 cosy traditional pub & a tea-room which served us an excellent breakfast this morning. Highly recommended for a short break.

First class...DO IT!!!...

We visited from two nights the posh huts where very comfortable and inside was clean the showers where superb 

My only winge is the windows could be done with a clean I.e theee was spiders dead on windows and also slides dead in the hut 

Also the outside furniture was very outdated and mixed and no candles where left in the area 

It looked like it could have been really pretty and one time and with a Little Tlc To could be given life again 

The stars where stunning from the woodland view and a trip the the pheasant inn for pub meal was stunning

Nice but needs outside updating 

We booked to stay here while visiting Kielder Observatory, and we weren't disappointed. It's a 25-ish minute drive to the observatory and it's a very easy drive. The huts are amazing and so cosy, loved the little kitchen and the bed was very comfy. Falstone Farm was super easy to find, only thing that confused us a little was what to do when we got there - the reception isn't easy to spot. We found our hut and the keys were just in the door so we let ourselves in. It was pitch black when we arrived which didn't help us - take a torch! The hut itself was amazing, would definitely stay again. We took food, drinks and snacks - only thing we didn't take was milk unfortunately, as we assumed there would be milk with the free tea and coffee. I hate black tea so we just had hot water - take your own milk if you enjoy a cuppa! The underfloor heating was not working so we were given complementary wood for the fire burner which was nice. There are some board games in the hut which we did enjoy while we were waiting to go to Kielder. We had no signal so was lovely to get away from it all and enjoy some quality time together. Overall we loved the stay and would definitely return. It was lush to drive back here after going to the observatory (where we were freezing!!) and get cosy in the bed! Views when we woke up were lovely, it looked like we were in a Christmas card with all the frost.

Lovely stay while visiting Kielder observatory

My partner booked this for one night as a surprise for us on the last day of our holidays.
We stayed in the meadow field hut and thought the accommodation was superb! 
With a combination of serenity comfort and style.
Even the addition of a fire pit for use made our stay truly memorable.
We even got a clear enough night to see the stars! 

Excellent stay perfect night

Very nice location, amazing peace and quiet. The only thing that could be improved on would be to have a sign in the guest car park to point to reception for customers who haven't been before. Hut was really clean and warm.
