We stayed here for one night, it was a Christmas Gift. Booking the trip was super easy and when we had to re-arrange the dates it was really easy to get in touch with Louise. 

The pods themselves are great, there’s a comfortable bed, fairy lights, two small tables, a TV and DVD player and lights and plugs too. Even in February it was lovely and warm inside but there’s a heater too if you’re cold. We brought our dog with us too - he had to be on a lead at all times (understandable). 

The facilities at Yapham Holds were impeccable. Incredibly clean, bright and airy. The extra touches of hand cream, fresh flowers and even the radio playing in the shower room/toilets was nice. We’ve seen our fair share of camping toilets and these are definitely up there with the best. 

There’s a block with a sink for washing up, and in there is a fridge and a microwave, along with menus for restaurants/takeaways. 

A really enjoyable stay overall☺️

Cute and Quiet Campsite

Just returned from a 1 night stay and would definitely return. We were apprehensive and almost cancelled due to the forecast of storms and high winds. So glad we didn't, the pods are very cosy and surprisingly very sturdy considering the wind we felt very safe. Louise was lovely and welcoming and she keeps very highly maintained pods, field and the shower block/toilets were spotlessly clean and fresh. We went for a drink and food in Pocklington which is 5 minute drive away and then headed into York which was only 25 minutes away. We took our Dyson heater fan and was so warm and there is also a plug in radiator provided in the pods. We watched a film on our iPad in the evening as the bed doesn't face the TV or on a bracket to pull out and watch, unfortunate for us because Louise had provided so many great films to borrow. 10/10 would recommend.

Lovely January 1 night stay

My husband and I stayed for 7 nights with our puppy Finn! We all had an amazing time, site and facilities are second to non really fresh and clean! Better than some hotels we have stayed in! The location is perfect for ambling around East Yorkshire, we had some great recommendations from Louise and visited some wonderful places! Nigel and Louise were the perfect hosts and we couldn’t have asked for more! The pod we stayed in was fabulous, comfortable, clean and warm. Loved the added benefit of the tv and dvd which we made great use of in the evenings cuddled up with Finn watching one of the many movies on offer! Definitely will stay again and already looking forward to it! Thanks again Louise and Nigel :)

Fantastic 7 night stay at Yapham Holds Farmhouse

We loved our little holiday at Yapham. We used our buyagift voucher here and we were very happy with the experience. Our little pup Ralphy came along with us and it was an extra £5 on arrival for his stay. 
The pod is super cosy and soon warms up with the heater.  We borrowed a couple of DVDs, we were pleasantly surprised by the range of choice.
A close drive to York and Pocklington. Showers and toilets were clean and tidy. 
We would most certainly return for a summer stay!


Lovely little autumnal get away. 

Well, what an absolute gem! Not a bad word can be said about this place. There is 6 pods and a field for camping. Pods are very spacious, very well insulated (we visited in October), there is a wooden double bed which is very comfy and a tv. The place is absolutely spotless from the pods, to the showers and toilets to the pot washing areas, all absolutely immaculate. The host is very friendly. We would 100% visit again! Short drive, 10 minutes into Pocklington and 15 minute drive to nearest park and ride for York. Perfect!

Absolute gem 💎 

Amazing first time glamping! 

The owner was lovely and really friendly, the shared areas were spotless, the ‘pods’ were so cosy and everything was incredibly well thought out. The field/ garden area is also beautiful and really well maintained. Couldn’t recommend enough. Big shout out to Billy, the gorgeous cat on site, he is adorable. Thanks so much for having us, we’ll definitely be back! 

Amazing glamping stay! 

Well, what more can I say than the title! 

My wife and I received a gift voucher for this stay as a Christmas present, and when checking out the locations we realised that Yapham Holds was an ideal location to give us an extra night away ahead of our weekend in Whitby.

We read all of the reviews beforehand and would go along with them – it was a lovely spot and we will be looking to book again next year.

The site is ten minutes away from Pocklington so in easy access for supermarkets etc to get any supplies you need. We had a little bbq so took along food for that, along with extra tea bags and coffee to make sure we had enough.

Our pod was just what we wanted for the night. So comfy, clean, everything we could have asked for really. And the on-site facilities were excellent, too. The toilet and shower block was clean and comfortable, and it looked like it had been decorated not long ago too. Likewise the pot wash area – it was absolutely spotless, with use of the fridge available too.

And as for the location, that was just superb. It was close enough to main roads to be easily accessible rather than out in the middle of nowhere, and yet far enough away from main roads to just be so unbelievably peaceful. It really was so quiet and relaxing. That was perhaps the most enjoyable aspect for me.

So all in all we couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we will definitely be visiting again in the future.

A perfect little stay

Stayed in a glamping pod and found the pod and the facilities to be great. Peaceful location and more than enough in the pod to meet needs. Shower and toilet block is extremely clean. Have use of fridge and pot wash as well.  Would highly recommend

Great Stay

An evening away in one of the camping pods. Was lovely, shower and toilets very clean. Quiet site, parking near to the pod. Only thing I would say is take extra tea bags and milk if you want more than one cup over your stay. Really enjoyed our experience here 👍🏼

Lovely quiet and clean site

As always, it is a lovely place to go with a massive warm welcome from Louise and Nigel and always happy to see you.  The new beds are absolutely fabulous.  Thank guys keep up the great work. So looking forward to seeing the new shower block.See again soon.
