Bed very hard and uncomfortable.Room not the same as advertised in room details. Remember  breakfast not incl- if you like “sandwiches “ then I suggest you book here .sandwiches left in hallway .I left my mirror behind- phoned many times and was ignored . July 22

Not for us 

An excellent stay! We booked all 3 rooms for a single night before travelling to France on Le Shuttle. The welcome, comfort and cleanliness were all exceptional and I couldn't give higher praise. 

Highly recommended if you are in the area. 

Fabulous Guest House!

We stopped one Saturday night so we could get an early tunnel crossing.The room was spotless with a separate toilet, huge shower,comfy bed and very quiet.It’s a bit like a self contained flat.This is definitely more Premier than the Premier we used to stop in.We had a good nights sleep and an amazing packed lunch waiting for us both in the morning.The packed lunch idea works really well as it’s included in the price we paid and as we are veggies we don’t really “do” breakfasts.We will definitely stay here again as it got our vacation off to a great start.It’s a 30 minute down hill walk to the harbour area which offers more than the town centre.

Everything is spot on.

A very clean and ideally placed B&B to discover Folkestone. A friendly owner who made us very welcome. Quite room with with comfortable bed and en-suite. Tea and coffee making facilities in your room. A continental breakfast was included in the price. Off road parking. If your looking for good quality on a lower end budget then I can highly recommend a stay here.

Amazing Value for money.

We have stayed here four times now as it is always so nice. The hosts are friendly and always make you feel welcome. The rooms and house are modern well equipped and relaxing. Every morning Don cooks a tasty cooked breakfast and there is plenty of fruit or cereal on offer to. highly recommend staying here you wont be disappointed.

A great place to stay in Folkestone!!!!!

Pre overnight shuttle, and what a find.
We have used this route for many years & wished we had found Foy House long ago.
This is a gorgeous family home, Don is the best host by far, absolutely nothing was too much trouble, filling a flask for our journey, which began at 6am.
There’s is a great refreshment tray & sweeties in the bedroom. 
The room was a good size with a great bathroom.
This trip was early August, so regrettably we weren’t able to experience Dons breakfast, but there is still time.
If you enjoy good old fashioned Irish hospitality, don’t look any further

Simply The Best in Folkestone.

this was our first post lockdown break and we wanted to see the sea!i chose this wonderful guest house after reading all the brilliant reviews!it didnt dissapoint!Don was an excellent host,aloowing to check in earlier.The room was fabulous,excellent shower,good size,separate toilet,separate hot drinks area,bottled water,toiletries,tea,coffee,biscuits.tv(not great signal,but there was nothing to watch!)Don provided us with a lovely packed lunch instead of breakfast(we went to Marleys).thanks for a wonderful stay!

1st post lockdown night away 1.8.20

A lovely room with the best shower! Don, the host, couldn’t do enough to make us welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a first class hospitality tray and we were given a packed lunch on leaving that was an absolute feast! We were one of the first guests following the lifting of the Covid-19 restrictions, but would never have guessed.... only sad that Don’s famous breakfast was still not available at the time of our visit. We will definitely be back to sample it on a future trip to Folkestone. Foy House is an altogether great place to stay and lives up to its excellent reviews!

A perfect stay

Just an overnight stay and a very comfortable one at that. Great care had been taken to combat the virus and everything was spotlessly clean.         The house was convenient for the front and an evening walk was just lovely. 

Prior to shuttle to France. 

Another perfect stay in a spotless comfortable room, with lots of little thoughtful extras to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice, and Don was once again an outstanding host.
