Fassfern Guesthouse is in a beautiful location overlooking Loch Linnhe, with private parking at the back of the guesthouse and only a few minutes drive into the centre of Fort William. 

We had a lake view room which was spacious and well furnished for the two of us. Everywhere was clean and the beds were super comfortable! The en-suite was a little on the small side and we did struggle to regulate the temperature of the shower, it seemed to alternate between cold and scalding with only a few seconds of decent temperature in between - but we managed!

The breakfast spread was throughly enjoyable, a good selection of cereals, yoghurts and fresh fruits available to help yourself to followed by a fully cooked breakfast served once you’d sat down. My only feedback for the guesthouse is it would have been nice to have chosen my own cooked breakfast items as opposed to being served everything and having to leave items or move them off my plate.

One night for a family of 4 between 2 rooms

This is the perfect stop and place to stay on a visit to Fort William. Beautiful Gardens overlooking amazing scenery. The Owners Dave and Leigh are very friendly and helpful giving oodles of advice on good places to go and see and visit . They were also very accommodating to any request we had . Breakfast was superb every morning - rooms are very clean and extremely comfortable . WiFi and Tv was excellent  too  :)  highly recommend will be revisiting soon !!!

Best Guesthouse in Fort William

The B&B is very close to the town center. We had a beautiful, very spacious room with lake view. Everything was very clean and the bed comfortable. We found this B&B last minute after we had just finished the West Highland Way and couldn't believe our luck. The breakfast was very good and freshly cooked. Leigh is a very nice host and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend to stay there.

Beautiful Guesthouse

Arrived here to a very warm welcome after a long days walking.  Lovely guest house with nicely appointed rooms and a comfy bed.

Property is within easy reach of the town centre and has beautiful views across the loch

Everything was perfect for us and we got a ground floor room which helped with my partners walking disability plus this had views to the front which overlooked the water.

One night stay

Gorgeous view of the loch here, we could sit at our bedroom window watching the world go by.  Lovely owner and the room was spotless.  Breakfast was good, location to town centre really good.  Friendly staff.  Would return.

Great two night stay

The hosts were extremely welcoming. The room was very comfortable. The location was excellent: only a very short walk from the town centre with superb views across Loch Linnhe. For those completing The West Highland Way this is one of the closest B&Bs to the end of the walk. The breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable accommodation in an excellent location

Overnight stay at the start of Great Glen way walk starting from Fort William. Friendly and helpful staff. By comfortable twin room. Hearty breakfast. Great location overlooking the loch and convenient location. Was able to leave car in rear car park for duration of our week long walk. Would stay there again on future visits. 

Very welcoming and comfortable in great location 

Large room with en suite with a view over the Loch. Private parking at the rear of the property. 2 minutes walk to the shops and restaurants. We stayed one night and the breakfast was freshly cooked and a choice of fruit, cerals etc. We would definitely return to this property.

Central location and friendly owner

I was exceedingly impressed by the warm welcome I received at Fassfern Guesthouse. The proprietors,  Leigh and David, did everything to make my stay there a delight! They are a charming, young couple, bubbling with enthusiasm! 
Fassfern is a wonderful example of an old Victorian home. It felt like I was stepping back in time, as I sat in the 19th century dining room enjoying a lovely traditional Scottish breakfast.
My room was at the front of the house with a fine view of Loch Linnhe. The window was dressed with an exquisite pair of custom made tartan drapes and the bed could not have been more comfortable. 
I will be back!
