I can’t say enough good things about this lovely b and b. From our beautiful room facing the loch to the wonderful breakfasts it was our favorite stay on our trip! Convenient to and in walking distance of the main street shops made it a great location. There was so much to see and do that we could have stayed longer. Our bedroom plus sitting area was so comfortable after a long day of sightseeing.  Breakfast consists of cold buffet plus your choice of hot dishes. Quiet location even though it was on the main road. Host was very helpful with ideas for things to do. Highly recommend this lovely spot.

Could have stayed longer

Perfect location opposite the Loch & only a short walk to the high Street. From welcome to goodbye we could not fault our stay. The room was spacious, bathroom clean with a bath & hot water. WiFi worked well. Breakfast & the staff were pleasant & very efficient. car parking was also provided. 

4 Nights in Fort William

A great location, close to the town centre and within easy driving distance of many beautiful, scenic places.
There was a great choice at breakfast and definitely plentiful enough to keep you going for a large part of the day.
Gorgeous,  local toiletries got your day off to a luxurious start.

Striking building a few minutes walk from the town centre. 

This was the most enjoyable stay we have had in a long time.  The accommodations were great as were the innkeepers.  We couldn’t have been more impressed.  The room was clean and comfortable.  We were also introduced to The Highland Soap Company, which has the most bewitching smells.  Thanks for the memories.

A wonder place to stay.

The room, the view and the breakfast were spectacular. Trevor and his wife were great hosts and gave us several ideas on where to go for food and attractions. Ft. Williams is a good base camp for exploring for 3-4 days. 

Everything wonderful but the weather!

Had such a lovely stay with our family. It’s right on the front with incredible views over the loch (if you get a room at the front). Really incredible cooked breakfast and super friendly efficient staff. This was our 2nd time staying and will definitely be back.

Absolute gem

Wonderful hosts, very welcoming, spotlessly clean, fantastic location with stunning views and only a few minutes walk into town,  really good wi-fi, great breakfast, friendly staff, plenty of parking, overall five stars all the way!

Excellent Experience


An excellent centrally located accommodation, with ample off-street parking. Beautifully maintained gardens and overall property. Clean and comfortable rooms with very good facilities and excellent WiFi connection.
Our room overlooked Loch Linnhe and the hills.
Fascinating that this property was previously the lower observatory connected to the old summit observatory on Ben Nevis

A great place to stay when in Fort William

Great Views from the room, excellent room, very spacious and bathroom also spacious.  Staff friendly, breakfast was good.  Beds comfy.  Trevor the owner was friendly and helpful.

Great Location 5 min walk into town but not much in town.
Not far from Ben Nevis and the Gondola's.
There is a tesco express in town.  
Morrisons, mark and spenser foods and mc donalds a short drive.


The guest house was superb. The room was excellent and the views from the front of the house were absolutely fantastic. The hosts were welcoming and great. The breakfast was superb.  I can fully recommend this guest house.  The town is a 5 minute walk away and is definitely worth a visit.  There is a great soap factory just outside the town called Highland Soap Co. - this is worth a visit too.
