My friend and I couldn’t have asked for more. We were greeted by the owner and he was extremely helpful providing us with snacks, restaurant recommendations, and things to do. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.  If I’m back in Fort William for vacation, I’ll definitely be staying here again.

Must stay

Most of the accommodation in Fort William fronts onto the A82, which is a fairly busy road.  We had the annex room in The Willows, which is a very nice self-contained and private unit, and the windows face to the side, so even with the windows open the road noise was less intrusive than for many others. We had a big and very convenient parking space.  The walk into town is straightforward and flat. It was a good-sized room with a very large double bed, space to sit and an ensuite bathroom.  Everything seemed very clean. Because of Covid, breakfast wasn't provided although there was a small selection of foods left for us.  But, most usefully, there was a small microwave and fridge in the room together with crockery and cutlery, which meant that we could sort out our own food easily - this was a big plus.

A good stay

We had a superb 5night stay in the willows annex, the proprietors were extremely helpful and caring.The annex was beautifully clean and well equipped, would certainly recommend to anyone travelling to Fort William

Nice Town Nice People

We had a lovely 2 day stay in mid-Sept at the start of our journey.  We stayed in room 6 (annex outside the main building).  The beds were twinned for us and the room was perfect - cozy and spotless clean.  The owners were incredibly helpful and even repaired a loose screw on a pair of glasses.  Breakfast was delicious - poached egg perfection!  Pleasant walk along the water to high street.

Fort William Gem

We stayed in the separate building with the king size bed. The room was wonderful and the small fridge was great for storing medical supplies for my husband.  There was a lighter blanket in a drawer which we used as we found the duvet on the bed too heavy for summer and just the windows open. The breakfast choices were full of variety and filling. The views from the front porch are stunning. Our only complaint would be that the host was not very personable. The city was about a 10 minute walk away.

Nice Place with Great views

Great place, spotless and modern bathroom and lots of nice little touches like kitkats in the room, wine glasses, sweet jar, lovely soaps/shampoos, fluffy towels, massive and high quality breakfast. We will be back!

Lots of nice little touches

Excellent accommodation, had the annex room 6 which included a fridge and micro wave, + 2 easy chairs. Plenty of choice at breakfast, Paul will cook anything within reason as long as you advise him the night before. Extremely clean and bed comfortable. plenty of space for car parking Would definitely recommend.

10 min walk to town, 20 min walk to railway station.

4 night stay at the Willows

We stayed last night for a stop over before heading to the Isle of Skye. We were warmly welcomed and showed where we were staying as we had the side Annexe which we loved. Was a nice seperate building across from the main house mainly as a large room with an ensuite bathroom. Everything we needed and felt homely and told if needed anything to just come in the back door to the kitchen felt very welcome. 
The bed was huge and so snug and as for Breakfast the spread on the table was an awesome selection and the main Scottish Breakfast was FANTASTIC!! Ingredients perfect, local products, top quality and cooked to perfection. Something the hosts should be proud of i would come back for the brekkie instead of most other hotels pubs or restaurants :) 

Lovely 1 night stay

We stayed in room 6 which had a lovely ensuite and was well equipped with a fridge, microwave, tv, wifi and tea and coffee. The room was big and comfy so had a great sleep. Breakfast had a few cooked options to choose from as well as a large choice of cereal, fruit etc and the breakfast room has lovely views. The owners were very nice and I would stay there again.
