We rented this for a week as a whole house, the owners have thought of everything to allow you all the comforts.  Immaculately clean on arrival along with a basket of food goodies to tie us over until we could get to the shops.   We paid extra for the infra red sauna which we really appreciated after a wintery day out.  There is a huge selection of books, dvd's and games to occupy you should you decide to have a lazy day in.  The views of the mountains are amazing, we slept with the curtains open just so we could relax in bed looking out.  I only met Heather who owns the property but she is absolutely lovely and will go out of her way for anything you may need or require.  I cried before we had left the driveway as I didn't want to leave and therefore, I highly recommend this beautiful property, you will not be disappointed.

Dalcomera Accommodation

Heather was a very welcoming host after a long day of walking.  Our room was very comfortable and Heather prepared a lovely dinner.  She also gave us the best packed lunch of the walk!!  A lovely B&B and ideal spot for this walk.

Excellent B&B on Great Glen Way

Just off the Great Glen Way this is a good B&B to stay at. The rooms were very spacious and modern. The welcome very friendly and the food (breakfast and packed lunch) the best of the whole trip.
There are no pubs / restaurants near by.

It is hard to improve on the other  excellent reviews of Dalcomera. It was our perfect first stop walking  on the Great Glen Way from Fort William to Inverness.  

Heather and Nick’s  home is comfortable, artfully designed, immaculate, and very conveniently located right off the trail in a beautiful  location. Heather has amazing taste, both as an artist, as well as a cook. It was a true pleasure to be her guests for dinner and breakfast where we enjoyed talking with her and our fellow guests.

Our visit there became the “gold standard” of b&b’s throughout our week  on the Great Glen.

My son and I stayed here last week during our Great Glen canoe trip from Fort William to Inverness. Excellent rating does not do it credit. our room was loverly,the views stunning and Heather and NIck the perfect hosts. Heather has everything well organised and served a great breakfast.

Perfect stop

Excellent location near the Great Glen Way, spotlessly clean very comfortable warm room with lovely outlook. Dinner was very good and the availability is a big bonus for walkers. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful.

This place was great. The customer service was impeccable and the accommodation was beautiful. Our room was really clean and styled well. I had an amazing sleep on the giant bed with fresh clean sheets. Heather was an incredible host, she made sure we had everything we needed and more. The breakfast was so good and tailored to what you wanted which I thought was a really great touch. Would definitely come back!
