Booked this delightful B & B as an ideal location to visit various locations in the area. I wasn’t disappointed 😊 Alison is the perfect hostess, she really can’t do enough to make your stay enjoyable. Our room was lovely, clean, cosy and very comfortable. Amazing views, peaceful nights. Breakfasts were also amazing, each morning we had breakfast at the time we wanted and Alison cooked anything we asked for! The omelette was gorgeous, all the jams and preserves were homemade too. A delightful weekend, thank you Alison!

Beautiful bank holiday

Immaculately clean and very welcoming staff.  Breakfast was outstanding!  Ideally located for visiting Richmond and the surrounding areas; lots of great walks to take in and local Public Houses to quench your thirst!

A lovely Place in The Yorkshire Dales

On the spur of the moment we booked a single night at this B&B so that we could have a quick visit to Richmond, North Yorkshire.

On arrival we were greeted by the owner who immediately offered to reorganise her outdoor furniture in order to provide a secure location for our motorcycle. Since the location is well away from any major road and  therefore quite secure we politely declined but still appreciated the offer as motorcyclists (even in their late 60's) are not always made welcome in the UK.

We were shown to our room and various features were explained. The rooms are themed and ours was the Africa room with décor and soft furnishings in ethnic prints. The bathroom was large and we also had a sitting room available to us. When we enquired about the food available at the local pub the owner kindly offered to make a booking for us and she was as good as her word.

Breakfast the next morning was excellent. various cereals and fruit were available to start and the cooked breakfast was basically whatever you wanted to choose. We chose an omelette with chives and tomatoes and mushrooms as accompaniment. All the produce was as fresh as could be as it was all grown in the owners garden and the sauces, chutneys and preserves were also home made.

All in all an excellent stay.

Excellent accomodation in a lovely location.

Compact but lovely twin room, spacious bathroom, helpful host eager to please, great location, views, breakfast and a lovely garden. Did not stay in but saw the double room that looked to be a nice size. All in all, recommended.

Recommended, charming  location and great views

Just been for our second visit with family for birthday and anniversary treat. As before Alison was the perfect hostess. We arranged to have dinner there and we're not disappointed, Alison served up top quality food which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. A real dining experience which I highly recommend . Needless to say the breakfast next morning was equally as good.
Will certainly be back again to this lovely part of the country.
