This lovely, small B&B is perfect for staying by Loch Lomond or The Trossachs. This is honestly one of my favorite areas to visit, and I have both camped and stayed at an inn in the area.  Glenlaird was just amazing. Walking distance into central Drymen (literally a 4 minute stroll to The Clachan) but away from most of any bustle you could find in season.

This home is obviously a recent build, and meant to be a B&B. The bottom half of the property is communal, with plenty of parking and views. Our room was probably one of the best we had on our trip (five different cities in Scotland) with a very comfortable bed, gorgeous bathroom and plenty of parking. As a bonus, the bed had a tv hidden in the footboard and there was a ton of space to spread out.

While we didn’t have breakfast (we met with friends for breakfast to celebrate my birthday) the options were extensive and the dining area was relaxing, with floor to ceiling windows of the pond. 

We have friends in the area with limited space, so I can see us returning to stay with James and Svetlana again and again. We prefer to stay in the same places when we visit, and this is now 100%  going to be a go to for us!

Just What You Need

Cant speak highly enough, immaculate high-end B&B with the friendliest owners ever. Check in was smooth, the room was decorated nice, spacious and clean. Went into town for dinner then came back and sat outside with a glass of wine overlooking the pond and the mini waterfall. The host (sorry i forget his name) was such a lovely guy.
Highly recommended and was the highlight of our weeks trip all over Scotland

Stunning high end B&B

Highly recommend a stay here. Very clean, modern, spacious, airy and a lovely setting by the pond. Easy to walk into Drymen. The room was a good size with two very large sliding door wardrobes (useful for our 2 rucksacks and all our belongings) and a large modern bathroom with walk in shower. Svetlana was very kind in providing a hearty vegan breakfast at the last minute when I thought I had mentioned this on booking and realised I hadn’t. Almond milk blueberry pancakes, fruit bowl, and a cooked breakfast of beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, sausages, potato. Much appreciated. A wonderful place to stay after a day’s walk.

Just back from a wonderful couple of nights at  Glenlaird.
I can't recommend this B & B highly enough.

My partner and I arrived on Friday morning as we were planning on going walking. We were warmly welcomed by James, who said our room was ready. We didn't expect this as we only planned to leave the car and return later to check in.

The room was fabulous. Spotless clean. It had a courtesy tray with bottles of water and borders biscuits. The room also had a walk in shower which has got to be one of the best I have ever used on holiday. The added bonus in the room was it had a TV bed. White fluffy bath sheets. Handwash at the sink and toiletries in the shower. Tresemme hairdryer in the drawer

Breakfast, made by Svetlana, both mornings was delicious. The attention to detail was first class with everything you needed at hand.

My partner was up early on the Saturday morning to go Hillwalking and Svetlana made him a packed lunch to take with him.

Nothing was too much trouble for this lovely couple who were warm, friendly and very welcoming.

We asked for extra pillows for our room, not a problem. We asked if we could have some ice, again our request was granted.

James and Svetlana are the perfect hosts, who certainly know how to take good care of their guests.

The setting of Glenlaird is idyllic with a beautiful patio that overlooks the large pond in the garden,which we sat out on both nights, watching the sun go down.

We would definitely stay again.

Five star bed and breakfast. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fabulous location, room and facilities, within easy walking distance to the Clachon the oldest pub in Scotland. The hosts could have been more hospitable and served up a varied and delicious breakfast. We had a lovely burns night in the town centre and enjoyed the vibrance and  fantastic food in the Clachon. The B&B provide a lovely kitchen and sitting area for guests, which a beautiful back drops over the lake and views over Ben Lomband. Highly recommended and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Wonderful location, room and breakfast, the hosts couldn’t have been more delightful!

We stayed at the Glenlaird Bed & Breakfast for 3 nights and we had the best time. The owners, James and Svetlana are lovely people who took care of us so well. Breakfast is  great, fresh and everything you could wish for is provided. They even made a gluten free breakfast for me, as a person with celiac disease I can honestly say that is was the best breakfast I could have wished for. 
The room was cosy, beautiful and clean, clean towels were provided daily.
We would recommend this B&B to all of our family and friends and we hope to come back someday!

Simply the best B&B

Phenomenal Bed & Breakfast! Staying there was an absolute pleasure  - even if it was only for a day.

Clean, relaxed and with a nice view of the countryside. The bathrooms are very modern as well. A parking spot was right in front of the main entrance and you could easily walk by foot to the pubs and restaurants of Drymen.

The owner is very friendly: He offered helpful advice for exploring the area and served a delightful English breakfast.

I can only recommend the Glenlaird if you plan to stay near Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park for your holidays!

James is very welcoming and Svetlana is a great cook and really cares for all her guests. She really goings the extra mile to make sure your stay is memorable. The bnb is very peaceful, spotless and in a wonderful locations

Thank you James and Svetlana for a great weekend, just wish we had more time. Will have to bring out parents to your wonderful place!

Amazing Stay at Glenlaird bnb, James and Svetlana are great

I wish I could have stayed longer in this beautifully appointed house. I found it very relaxing and peaceful. Spectacular vista makes this place very romantic. The room was very clean and tidy with ensuite and tea/coffee making facilities. Fresh cooked scottish fayre was really lovely and well presented. The hosts were exceptionally knowledgeable about the area which was great as I was passing through on my West  highland way walk. The local village center is only 5 minutes walk, there you can find quaint Scottish souvenirs and gift shops, alongside traditional country pubs and hotels. I would highly recommend this place to stay.

Glenlaird is a modern home designed by the owners who have done a splendid job and all of the amenities which are required for its visitors are provided. These are of a high standard and the short walk to Drymen village centre makes this an ideal base for tours around the Loch Lomond area.
