I can highly recommend this accommodation and would most definitely stay again!  The room was clean, comfortable, well thought out, perfectly located and a joy to stay in.  What a magical place!  I stayed in the Abbey View room and cannot rate it highly enough!  It was exactly what I needed - I left feeling fully revived and recharged. Charlie is a fantastic host too - thank you for creating such a homely space for your guests to stay in.   A true gem.

Beautiful accommodations. We had the Abbey Suite and it was amazing with a view of the Abbey. Charlie is a wonderful host and very helpful. Thanks for the Union Jack and the tip about walking along the Thames when we got to London! You were so right. Hope to see you again

Great location

What an amazing place to stay..    I stayed in the abbey view which was the most relaxing, beautiful  suite with everything you that you need for a self contained stay.  Very comfortable bed and a fabulous shower..  The high street is only a few minutes walk away as is the Abbey, which I had views of from my suite.   We had a wonderful romantic stay at Haydn House.The  owner Charlie is fabulous and very helpful and informative about the area.   We went for a long but amazing walk on the levels, recommended by Charlie 😊.  We have already booked the next stay and have recommended Haydn House to friends and colleagues

Wonderful mini break

Just returned from a great two night stay at Haydn House. Thank you so much Charlie you have a fantastic place and you are a great host. Our room was spotless and very comfortable; really handy to have a kitchen for our breaky, with lovely views overlooking the Abbey Gardens. Would definitely return.

Fantastic Stay

I cannot fault this place, and can clearly see why it has such good reviews. We stayed here for 4 days earlier this week, after reading the reviews. I can clearly see why it is so highly rated. It is so close to the high street and yet, because it is in a quiet side street, at the back of the Abbey, it was so peaceful, we could hear the birds tweeting outside our window.  We stayed in the Silver Birch Suite. Our room was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. Charlie was the perfect proprietor, so welcoming and friendly. He even organised a large fan for us, without being asked, due to the extreme heat. Breakfast wasn’t available on site, but it was only 5 minutes walk to the high street, where there were several eateries. But in our room we had a fridge, microwave and kettle. So we had the option of making our own breakfast if we wanted.  Would I stay here again ? Most definitely, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others.

Can’t fault our stay here

Just returned from our latest visit to Glastonbury. Our last two stays have been at Hayden House - as will our next! The accommodation is brilliant and although no food is provided there are a number of eating places and supermarkets within a couple of minutes walk. Really comfortable and handy for all that Glastonbury has to offer yet tucked away in a really quiet side street overlooking the Abbey Gardens. You feel as if you’re in a different word. Blissful. Charlie the host is simply amazing - and so helpful. Strongly recommended. 

Fantastic

I really loved Haydn House. Owner is very friendly and kind. The room was very clean, cozy, and comfortable! Highly recommended to whom looking for spending chill night and I will stay again! Loved Towel Art of Swan:)

Perfect Cozy Place

I’ve  always really enjoyed staying at Haydn house and have stayed here whenever I’m in Glastonbury, which I haven’t beenfor a while. The whole place  has been completely  renovated : the rooms have been changed into suites with microwaves and and area for eating. I really liked this as I don’t  always want to eat out and sometimes prefer to bring something back to the room.
 I stayed in the orchid room which is beautifully decorated with an extremely comfortable bed. It has a very calm colour scheme and Chinoiserie wallpaper. I had a couple of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a while. Very good shower too.
Thanks for a really lovely stay. See you on my next trip to Glastonbury

Better than ever

Had a 4 night stay at Haydn House and couldn't fault it. Spotlessly clean, gorgeous room, excellent facilities and biggest comfiest bed ever. Charlie was very helpful and nothing too much trouble. Would definitely stay there again. On a quiet street but still close to all Glastonbury has to offer.

Highly recommended

Just returned from a two night stay at Haydn house with my teenage sons. We had the Birch & Orchid suites. Both suites each have a small kitchenette area, very handy for a ‘do it yourself’ breakfast, we all slept very well on the extremely comfortable beds. Both suites are stylishly decorated, immaculately clean and the walk in shower water pressure was a dream!  The street where the accommodation is sited is really quiet and the High Street is literally a couple of minutes walk away, the co-op is just around the corner. There is a reasonably priced car park on the same street and you only pay from 9am to 6pm. From my room I could see Glastonbury Abbey. 
We were all made to feel very welcome by our host Charlie. We appreciated the little touches, the milk and biscuits in the fridge to make a welcome cup of tea after a long journey went down very well. 
Glastonbury is a fabulous place to visit, we went up the Tor, Glastonbury Abbey and The Chalice Well. The high street is full of quirky shops and you can pass half an hour sitting on a bench people watching. The whole town’s got a really nice gentle vibe about it. On our last day we had a drive into Wells to see the cathedral and the Bishops Palace, it’s only 10 to 15 minutes drive away. 
We give Haydn House 10 out of 10, a little gem of a place and hopefully we’ll return again one day.
