We stopped by chance in this lovely tea room during our visit to the village. The staff girls were very kind, the tea and scones we ordered were really good, served very carefully. The cozy place. A wonderful break.

Wonderful tea room

Beautiful room with great hosts. Breakfast was lovely. Great location to explore Stow and the Cotswolds. The price was very reasonable and we will definitely be booking again, thank you very much for a lovely stay.

Lovely Cotswolds B&B

Called there this week and ordered a pot of tea for two.  When it arrived it was so weak it was undrinkable. On closer inspection we realised this was because there was only one teabag in the pot!  I returned it to a member of staff who put in an additional teabag without an apology.  Not very impressed at all. Wouldn't return.

There are better tearooms in Stow

very nice tea room with character, the service was very good and served with a smile. We are in the minority as we struggle to find somewhere to eat which do not allow dogs and here does as a couple came in with a dog. We have no objection to dogs but prefer them not inside somewhere we sit and eat our food.

Stayed here as part of a week long cycling tour of the Cotswalds booked through Freedom Treks travel.  We loved the room for its size (huge!), décor and cleanliness; our only complaint was the poor wifi signal.  Breakfast was great, and we had a really nice lunch there upon our (early) arrival.  The hotel was right in the middle of town, which made it great for exploring once the rain let up!

Huge room with real character

I would not spend my money in this establishment even if had the best tea in the town. The owner was extremely hostile and rude. Why enter into the hospitality industry if you can't manage to be hospitable? There are plenty of other tea rooms in the town to frequent. Enough said.

Don't bother

To begin with, that yellow B&B sign that you see in the photo is inside the teapot's inner courtyard, that is, it is not visible from the street, so when we arrived at 6pm, we found that there was only one closed teapot in this direction... After many turns and asking in the neighborhood, did we happen to have to look at the email and an hour earlier (!) we had received an email in which we were given the code for the teapot's door and were told where the room key was. Aliviados, we went to pick up the suitcase in the car and what would be our surprise when, on entering, a back door opens at the hotel (which we were definitely not calling) and one of our guests says, I'm not sure, I'm not sure, I'm not sure, I've even heard the wrong call, and I've got a wrong call, so I've been told that I've got to go out of the room, but I'm sure no one of the guests wants to change the room, but I don't know if it's really legal, but I

A fraud is a fraud.

I stayed in Stow-on-the-Wold as a one-night stop in the Costwolds. I actually think I should have stopped at Chipping Campdem (maybe a little more busy). But actually all the villages in the Cotswolds are pretty quiet at night. If you don't look for an early place to eat you'll go to sleep hungry. As for the hostel, it's super well located (even because the village is very small) and the room is very cozy despite being small. It's bed and breakfast style, you get the key to the central door.
