Pros:
- Room is clean.
- Bed is comfortable.
- Location is great. Walking distance to everything.
- Staff are nice and helpful when required.

Cons:
- Entry door slams. Every entry will result in a loud slam.
- Pub downstairs is loud and stays open till late during weekdays.
- No bell/ringer at the front door.
- Wifi signal is poor. Unusable most of times.
- Heating cant be controlled by guest. Centrally controlled.

100% RECOMMEND, These guys have it right!!!Before I start BREAKFAST IS NOT INCLUDED. But at £5.50 for a FULL English and a pot of tea or coffee is is nothing for what you actually get (ALOT)! Just had a weekend away here in Goole for a family event up the road. What you see in the ad pics for the Drake show what you could have, dont do it justice! We did arrive late evening for these guys it wasn't a problem. Greeted with a big smile from the young Lady behind the bar we were directed up to our room which was stunning. Better than the ad pics. Mini kitchenette,  en-suit bathroom and enough room to swing a dozon cats (and spotless). Plus a little note saying "You've had a long day the first cuppa is on us"! Great touch!!! Which put smile on my face straight away. Came down for drink in the bar and got sent to the Coach House and then the Lowther as the Drake was closing. Great 1st night. The best nights sleep in a hotel in along time! 2nd day had our breakfast oh my god. The residents were having to wait for a table as it was that busy with locals wanting breakie. The lady serving was like a Sergeant Major organising her troops. She was brilliant on both days we came down having a laugh. Even when we had friends coming for breakfast they had run out and then they cooked to order for them. Genuinely Rick and his team have got it right!!! Will definitely be back! Thanks to all at The Drake.

Amazing!!!

I had a lovely stay here. We stayed with our 8 month old and the room had plenty of space to accommodate travel cot. The staff were lovely. Nice clean pub downstairs and what an astounding breakfast that we had. If I come back to goole I would certainly stay here again. Great value and nice room

Have stayed four times at the Drake and have enjoyed every time. Rooms are good and well maintained and the staff are fantastic. Breakfast is included and is faultless and you also have the option of purchasing a £10 meal voucher to eat at the Lowther Hotel just a few minutes walk away. We chose this option and were not disappointed. The meal was fantastic and staff were great.



Great hotel with great deals

Overnight stay while working in the area. Really impressed by the value for money here! My wife and I were warmly received by pleasant lady behind the bar who showed us to our very spacious and clean en-suite room. Comfortable double bed and large screen tv. We were offered a special evening meal deal at their sister hotel The Lowthers Hotel just a few hundred yards along the same street. £10 each for any 2 courses! Absolutely brilliant value for such quality food! Back to the Drake after for couple of drinks, very reasonable prices and the breakfast next morning was excellent and included in the total price of £59, amazing value!

Great Value

Myself and my friend had the small breakfast here on Monday 7th August,  the food was delicious,  a lovely pleasant young lady served us, would recommend this place very highly,  one small point, the cups had very small handles, awkward to lift.

Breakfast

For an extended weekend, the Drake was the ideal place. The rooms are clean and purposefully furnished. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. The breakfast in the hotel's own pub had a certain flair and invited you to stay a little longer. The original Yorkshire breakfast is especially recommended. On the next trip, the Drake is certainly back in the closer range.

We'll be back

Just what the Dr. ordered. Plentiful and hot and a good selection of items to choose from - including Black Pudding, good cider and a lovely cuppa. Served by Kevin who looked after us very well. will defo return soon for another one. 

Stayed last night. Greeted by polite staff in a not too busy bar. Room modern and very comfortable. Had excellent nights sleep and large freshly cooked breakfast. We will certainly stay again if we are in the area.

Breakfast was great, and service was fab.
A little disappointed that I never had a Second floor room for my Mum. But they did offer to move us after the first night.
