We had a two night stay. All staff are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We were shown to our room but it was really hot, the sun had been on the window all afternoon. Although they had provided a fan we asked if they had another room on the other side of the building and were immediately moved to another lovely room. Tea and coffee making facilities are in the rooms along with individually wrapped cookies and quality toiletries. The breakfast is included and there is plenty of choice with vegan and veggie options. Sweet outside area for eating or drinks and apparently they have great quiz nights at the weekend. Really lovely! We will definitely be back.

Jersey Gem!

Had a lovely stay here comfortable clean rooms. The food is home cooked and delicious reasonably priced. A 10 minute walk to the beautiful harbour and beech .It may be a 2 star hotel but the manager Gabby and her staff are positively 5 star. There is ample free parking and a lovely outdoor area advise to book in advance 

Lovely place 

We really enjoyed our stay at Old Bank House. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. A special mention to Paul and Fran for welcoming us and taking the time to offer us help / advice when we needed it. Fran was warm, kind and again so helpful to us. My daughters loved Fran and really enjoyed chatting to her on  a daily basis. The hotel was spotless and the rooms were comfortable with everything we needed. Breakfast was in a nearby cafe, what can I say, delicious food and again amazing staff. The hotel is in a perfect location for visiting Gory beach which is stunning and there are also lots of lovely places to eat in Gory. We loved The Feast. All in all, a perfect holiday for us.

Fantastic Hotel

Called in on a rainy day for a coffee to be met by a lovely lady . 5* service , coffee and tea cake. Lots of chat about the island and would definitely call in again for a meal. Very clean and tidy too.

I took my family for breakfast yesterday and I must say that it was one of the best we've had for a long time.
All quite obviously freshly cooked, quality produce, perfect service, great coffee and amazing value but most of all not a spot of oil or grease on the plate!......first class! 

Spot on! 

We found this place quite on accident, as it is a bit off the main track. But it’s definitely worth a little detour.  We had THAT perfect Sunday Roast! Friendly service. Nice sun/outside terrace. Really recommendable. 

Delicious 

What a lovely place. Very clean through out. Good value for money. Staff very helpful,cheerful and always happy to help. Good choice for breakfast, there is a restaurant in the hotel, my friend and and I didn't eat there but people that did said the food was very good. Rooms a good size and so clean. Lovely garden to sit and have a drink or eat. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again. Many thanks to all the staff.

Brilliant

What a lovely hotel.  Close to the sea front and a nice strolling distance to Gorey's restaurants, cafes and shops.
Parking could be a little tight some evenings in the hotel car park but we always managed to get in.  Bed linen and towels changed half way through the week.  Rooms kept clean and tidy.  Even though we had a room at the front of the hotel that looked out over Gorey Village Main Rd it was a very quiet location.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and a good breakfast

Following our walk around the Queen's Valley Reservoir we parked up and walked into the village and found the Magpie and Thistle which is part of the Old Bank House Hotel. We had a very nice lunch.....Carol had the smoked salmon and prawns and I had the grilled sea bass. The portions were fairly small but we are not big eaters these days and the Asian pasta with the sea bass filled me up and Carol had some delicious soda bread. I wanted to buy a loaf as it was cooked on the premises but they didn't have enough to spare a loaf.

Lunch at Gorey

Just dropped by for coffee and cake and sat out in the lovely outdoor area.  Friendly staff if somewhat absent-minded.  Waited ages for the coffee to come but worth it in the end.  Huge TV screen in the bar area - OK if you can manage to talk over the noise of that but not a good place for a chat,
