We were greeted on arrival by the friendly landlord. Rooms super clean and comfy beds. En suite shower nice and hot.  Bar was friendly with nice local beer.  A very short walk to other venues.  I’ve rated excellent because it’s excellent value and friendly.

Buzz at the beehive

Said to be the only living pub sign in the world, the Beehive has some interest to anyone interested in nature. It is a friendly pub but, when we were there for lunch served only cheese or ham cobs. Both were perfectly satisfactory for an inexpensive pub lunch. There are some photos of the pubs history and we learned about what we could do to spend the afternoon in Grantham. We were not aware you could stay the night.

It should be on tourist on the tourist route.

Old worldly pub with pleasant staff. room was fine and beds were comfy. The heating the room was very good too. 
Ideally placed in centre of Grantham. We ate breakfast and an evening meal in weatherspoons which is just a 10 minute walk. The landlord recommended a Chinese restaurant just around the corner and we really enjoyed the meal there too .
We will book again next year. Thankyou .

Pleasant stay at affordable prices

Fabulous pub with some history (worth checking out on line), good atmosphere and a pleasant style interior of this old building & pub, some very good choices of alcohol and good service, well worth a pint in an interesting pub.

Splendid pub

I stayed for one night.the room was clean ,bed was very comfy.the location of beehive is brilliant as in centre of town this was very good value as room rate very low .the pub is very nice also.i would recommend this place for solo travellers

Great value and amazing location

Good old fashioned pub with a long long history (note the beehive outside not sure if still in operation, especially in jan), good atmosphere inside and pleasant interior, nice choice of alcohol and good service, well worth a pint.
