Myself and partner arrived there Friday night after driving for two and half hours as couldn't find any sign posts! This is way off the beaten track. I thought the pictures looked amazing but upon arrival, the reception area was super dusty, the manager/owner showed us a room, we were super tired so just took it. 
I walked into the room and it didn't smell good, the sheets smelled of urine, no toilet roll in bathroom, got given two tiny towels for 2 days (2 of us), the windows were cracked, couldn't open our window, the tv control needed new batteries but we couldn't find 1 member of staff all weekend! So we were stuck on the same channel. 
We didn't know the area so had no idea where we could get our food from, wanted to ask someone but no one around. 
People banging front door at all hours of the night - not sure if it was a guest or staff that was openly smoking weed in the car park.

I wouldn't recommend going here to be honest, not even for a quick overnighter. 

Some poor guest arrived last night but no staff to let him in so he slept in his car - manager didn't answer phone calls or his emails! 
I tried calling them several times for loo roll but no answer. 

Definitely not going there again! 

Shocking!

I’m not posh by a long shot but this hotel is Absolutely shocking how this hotel is still running I don’t know. It’s  stinking filthy dirty, terrible  smell of damp &  stale smoke windows are all cracked and don’t close glass hanging from them , one of the rooms we had windows were all taped up with insulation tape chandelier was caked in cobwebs and light bulbs missing , stained bedding , hair all in the beds , those silver fish things which you have with damp on the bed , the wardrobe I wouldn’t put a pair of shoes in never mind any clothes , bathrooms shocking in all 3 rooms we booked , avoid booking this hotel the photos they are showing on their website is not what you get .For some reason it’s not letting me upload photos 

Worst night stay we have ever had

Ok for 1 night
I needed a cheap hotel, arriving late and leaving early so didn’t want to pay lots of ££ as just using the bed 
A bit hard to locate in the dark even using satnav
Man who booked me in very pleasant and helpful 
Room and bedding clean and fresh.
Couldn’t get TV to work but not a major problem as I needed to sleep 
Only 1 small towel provided so a little problem when I had a shower 

Would I stay again, probably yes under similar circumstances 
Would I use if taking my partner away, definitely no.

Budget hotel

0 !! The hotel accepts reservations on Booking and does not answer you. We made 3 requests for validation of late arrival time. Without negative feedback we took it for validation. We stayed in front of the hotel for 1 hour without anyone opening the door and had to find another hotel in the middle of the night. The hotel never answered us, nor received us and refuses to answer the customer service of booking. Impossible to get a refund. Shameful

Scam !!!

Do not stay at any price. Booked my daughter in but when she told me I went to look and was horrified. Broken tiles,no guard on fan, mould, flies everywhere in room, the main house smelt really bad. Two hand towels what use are they? Where were the towels to fit normal size people after a shower. 
Please please don’t stay.

Really really awful

I guess you what you pay for. I made a booking and then realised I put in the wrong date checked they had availabilty for the dates that I should have put in, changed the booking within 2 minutes only to be told they would not refund. So based on that experience not only will I never bother to use them they also get a 1 star review.  Should have read the reviews to see the place was not worth booking in the first place.

No chance of adjusting dates

Booked a double and the superior room which were in the main house.  Should have realised what it was going to be like when phoned to confirm booking and just got 'hello' not even saying the name of the hotel.
Superior room smelt very damp, double room cold, secondary glazing but the main window was cracked with a part of the glass missing.  No radiator this had been removed but an electric fire.  Not all plugs worked, and TV was cracked in corner with an aerial that you had to move around to get a picture.  Both rooms were not very clean however the bed linen was clean.  Would only recommend if you are on a tight budget.

You get what you pay for

We tried to cancel our room yesterday was told we wouldn't have to pay then money was taken from the account so room got reinstated. We arrived from a 250mile trip to an unclean dirty room  no facilities for food or drink and told the shop was a 10 minute drive. If my husband had a diabetic low he could be dead by the time I got back from the shop! I asked to speak to the manager who I explained the situation 2  and said i have pictures of the room who then told me I was trying it on as I had tried to cancel my room and that I was lying regarding my husband being diabetic.  He then called me Darling and kept speaking over me and asked if I had finished after I had explained the situation. Very unprofessional for a manager Also refused a refund. I have now had 2 pay out for somewhere else so we have facilities to get food and drink on the quick incase my husband has a low and to be able to feel clean.

Disgusting room and service

Worst hotel I've ever seen. There was no curtains only thin blinds so you can't sleep until the sun goes down. The temperature in the rooms was roasting hot, there was no toilet paper, the food selection available was a joke (pot noodle crisps or chocolate) the shower head was broken too. Electric fittings hanging off the ceiling. Absolute worst place I've ever had to misfortune to spend my time in and money on.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in

It was weird! The bedding was clean, which was a huge relief after we'd seen "reception". Reception was an empty room with a bicyle in one corner and a box full of sachets of tomato ketchup etc (some used, some still sealed). There was a party of some sort in the courtyard below us, so we kept the window closed to reduce the noise. We were at a birthday celebration in the area, so arrived back at the room in order to sleep and then up at 6am and out of there as fast as possible. We did not attempt to use the shower. There was something just generally creepy and uncomfortable about the whole place. We stayed in a "premier" room which was in the main building and not in  one of the sheds out the back. Shudder to think what they were like inside!
