Stayed at Swiss Cottage what a fantastic find . Spotless clean and  covid friendly. Breakfast was fab and looked after by the fabulous Barbara . Stayed in the amazing sea view room number 7  spacious room everything we needed . Will definetly return .

AMAZING little Gem

Once again stayed here and as usual first class nice room very clean and tidy great breakfast both Bob and Barbara doing very well with the COVID situation highly recommend  the Swiss Cottage It is situated in a very good possession easy access to the beach and the town centre and not far from the racecourse with on site parking

Swiss Cottage

Wonderful stay again . We were here last year in august also . The guest house over looks the Venetian water gardens so a nice stroll in the evenings . The rooms are very clean , breakfast is wonderful fresh fruits and yogurt is one of my favourites instead of the plentiful cereals on offer ;and I follow this with a full English with filter coffee and toast and jams etc . Sets you up for the day really .faultless on making us feel safe during these covid times plenty of good practice rules so I felt completely safe during my stay not too crowded in dining room either as they manage breakfast times etc

Well worth a visit the Swiss Cottage bed and breakfast

Had a short break in Yarmouth last September (apologies for delay in review). Beautiful B & B opposite the Waterway Gardens, a short walk into town. Stayed in single room which was well equipped with ensuite shower room and toilet. Breakfast was delicious. Very friendly and attentive owners. Ideal for the race course, only a short taxi ride.

Birthday treat

Very clean and spacious room with a lovely breakfast each morning.
   Sad to say thou the WiFi was very bad and whilst catching up at the breakfast table on our phones was rudely greeted with “not talking this morning then”
Secondly we requested another set of keys as we had our own agenda on occasions during our stay but was told there wasn’t another set so on occasions either myself or my wife were locked into the room which surely is against safety regulations.

Felt uncomfortable

We have just spent a great weekend in the Swiss Cottage. We had twin room, number 9, which was huge. The decor was in keeping with the period features of the property, the bathroom was quite small but adequate, most importantly everything was spotlessly clean. The view was of the car park and the playing fields beyond, which was ok, as we didn’t intend sitting staring out the window all weekend. 
The car park is secure at the back of the property and had ample room. 
Breakfast was delicious, with a good selection of cereal, and then a full English to follow.
All in all a very pleasant stay.

Great B&B in a great location

Lovely B&B set at the quiet end of the prom.  Spotlessly clean, superb breakfast and private parking.  Amenities in the seaview room were perfect -- sitting area in bay window from which we could see the Wednesday evening fireworks -- and well worth the extra.

Perfect B&B

Barbara is a friendly and attentive host, personable and interested in making your stay as enjoyable as possible. She pays close attention to detail and her rooms are a good mix of contemporary and traditional style. Personally I would have preferred a bigger en-suite but it was a good use of space and the bedroom was large and comfortable. Delicious breakfast and good recommendation of local restaurant Chico’s.
With a superb view of the sea and in a quiet spot but a short walk from the centre, The Swiss Cottage is a great place to stay in Yarmouth

Room with a view

We have just returned from our trip after spending two nights at the Swiss Cottage B&B and we have had a fabulous time. A fantastic place to stay, it is spotlessly clean and the breakfast was just amazing, we both opted for a veggie one which was very tasty and included veggie sausages and bacon which we don't think is easy to find if you follow a vegetarian diet. We were in room 7 with fantastic views, light and airy, the bed was also very comfortable. We would not hesitate to stay here again should ever return to Great Yarmouth. Barbara, the host, was very welcoming and friendly which made the stay even more enjoyable. Thoroughly recommend this B&B as it is a real gem.

A perfect stay in Great Yarmouth

After staying here last year and absolutely loving Swiss Cottage the first time round, second vist did not disappoint. Bob and Barbara are wonderful hosts, always have a smile, and always happy to have a natter. The rooms are spotless and so comfy, rooms are cleaned/tidied on a daily basis, thank you for also putting some decaffeinated teabags in our room for mum. Breakfast also recieves top marks, there is a good variety and the full english hits all the right spots! 
Swiss cottage is in the ideal place being only a few minutes down the road from the town and amusements but far enough away so you can enjoy the peace. The building itself has lots of character and always feels comfortable and welcoming. We look forward to coming back next year (hopefully). Keep up the good work Bob and Barbara, you true superstars.
