First impressions of the lodge were great and the hot tub was lovely. However did find it noisy as grounds people keeping all the grass & brushes cut start very early in the morning! Access to some lodges could be tricky as only a drop off section for two cars and about 10 lodges. We found The Oak room a lovely venue however the pizza”s very underwhelming and pricey.

Nice stay

Like others have posted, fell foul of this resort cancelling our booking on the morning of our arrival when we had already set off. Not offered an alternative. No thought about your disappointed kids and how you’re going to book somewhere else at such short notice whilst you’re waiting 3-4 days for your card to be refunded. Never again !

Don’t bother!

I booked this hotel as an anniversary celebration. The listing looked great, with the room being described as a Spa Suite. The room was lovely and the grounds very well presented. My issue upon arrival was to learn that access to the pools was NOT included in the stay and was an additional cost of £99 per person per access. I had to raise a complaint whilst there and got zero help from hotels.com - other than them speak to the hotel to confirm it was an error in their listing. After 2 hours of complaining ( with the hotel blaming hotels.com and vice versa), we managed to get an hour in the pools. The spa is beautiful, but we feel completely miss sold on what we were getting. Had we known, we wouldn't have chosen a 5 hour round trip to a essentially a nice hotel room.
On return, I asked hotels.com to raise an official complaint, but the hotel has not returned any calls to them, so hence me having no alternative but to leave this review.
The hotel has since updated the listing, to change the names of the rooms from Spa Suite to luxury rooms and added their are extra fees for the pool access. 
I'm pleased they have rectified the listing, but I was still completely miss sold and haven't been able to reach a resolution with the hotel.

Miss sold service

We came for our mini moon. Laceby Manor was excellent. The lady who welcomed us at the lodge reception knew who we were before we said our name. The lodge we stayed in was Moonlight, it had a hot tub and sauna. Absolutely spotless and so cute!! We had dinner in the Oak room our first night. Staff were lovely and food was delicious. Day 1 at the spa was a delight. The spa is spotless. Marj the spa butler was so friendly and attentive, she gave us a very detailed tour of the facility and this prompted us to book the mud rasul for the following day. The ability to order drinks to the loungers was a nice touch. We had a Voya facial each at 2pm. Lisa and Zoe were brilliant, they popped us in the couples couchette after. 
That evening we ordered pizza and collected it from the Oak Room to have in the lodge, very tasty and they called us to let us know it was ready. Day 2 at the spa was even better than day 1, again spotless. Although clearly more people it didn’t feel it was overcrowded in the slightest. Service from the butlers and receptionists was still incredible, Marj even asked us if we slept well and asked if we were looking forward to our mud rasul. Massages at 11am were lovely by Aimee and Zoe, again off to the couchette afterwards. We enjoyed the facilities before lunch, could not fault a thing. Everything worked to the highest standard. The mud rasul at 3pm was brilliant. So well explained by the spa butler whose name I’m sorry I didn’t catch, the added infused water was well needed and a nice touch. On our last evening, we had dinner in the Oak Room, again, delighted. Food delicious, service brilliant. Not to mention we had breakfast for 3 mornings which was fab! 

We can’t thank you all enough for making our stay so special. We can’t wait to come back.

Avoid the spa !!

Horrendous abusive staff I have never been spoken to so horrendously in front of people. The customer service needs to be really looked into asap as It’s a real disappointment as the log cabins are great and you will loose a lot of business.

Overall, we had a lovely time, although I can't give the venue the full 5 stars. There were a few little points that I felt let the resort down, considering the price we paid for a 1 night midweek break. 
With our package we were offered one nights stay in one of the spa rooms, with 4 hours use of the spa facilities, pizza and prosecco in the evening and breakfast in the morning. As we arrived, the staff were very helpful, checked us in, and we popped into the room before heading to the spa. The room itself is nicely decorated, modern style, the bed was very comfortable, can't fault that. They are still doing a but of building work as they make new lodges, so unfortunately, our room looked out onto a bit of a building site. The outside bath I was looking forward to using was quite dirty. We also found out the milk and biscuits they had left out were out of date. However, they did quickly remedy this by bringing us fresh lattes from the restraunt. We also later found out the shower leaks and unfortunately there was quite a lot of water on the floor once we had used it. 
The spa itself was lovely. We tried out all the different saunas and pools and had some lovely smoothies (particularly recommend the coco loco). It was quite busy while we were there, but there was enough room for everyone, didn't have to wait to use any of the facilities. 
The pizzas in the evening was okay, I found the margarita a bit bland, was expecting a little more cheese, my partners Bechemel sauce pizza, however, was very good! Recommend that one if you have the pizza. 

We enjoyed our stay, but the little faults in the room let it down a bit.

Midweek overnight spa break

My partner and I visited the spa for the midweek spa break, and we will definitely be returning!
We enjoyed lunch, an evening meal and breakfast the following morning, and every single meal was brilliant. So much choice, and really fresh food. 
We spent all day in the spa, enjoying the steam room, the saunas, the fresh water lake and the hot tub. I felt like I was abroad - the most amazing hot tub I’ve ever been in! There are 5 areas within the hot tub that take turns to have the jets on. It was quite a chilly day that day, so the warm water was lovely! Also, a huge thank you to Dawn the Spa Butler who came over to my lounger to tell me I can take my glass of Prosecco into the hot tub! 
The room was really spacious. The bed was about a mile wide so I enjoyed a night where my partner didn’t tell me to move back over to my own side. There is a free standing bath tub on the terrace outside your room where you can enjoy the in-room seaweed treatment which comes as an add on when you book your break. 
I was daft enough to forget my hair straighteners, but there are some GHDs in the ladies changing room, so you can easily sort your hair out if you forget yours!
I’d come back to the spa in a flash. I had the most amazing stay. Marge and Dawn the Spa Butlers were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. Marge even came round to each couple individually at the end of her shift to say bye, which I thought was really lovely. 
The Oak Room restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. Apologies for not getting names but the tall, dark haired man with the stubble and the cream blazer, and the ginger haired lady in the black dress especially - such friendly people and really made our dining experience one to remember. 
Very excited to come back!

Incredible

Great lodges of a good standard. We had a hot tub lodge Dunwoodie and it’s great. Even had Netflix movies ant to channels. Location was great for our needs and trips out. Oh yes avoid Boston Lincolnshire, dump full of ethnic cousins very poor shopping and sites to see other than Cathedral. .Didn’t do club house, it has a golf course at lodges.we don’t play. Restaurant isn’t cheap so take your own food. Morrisons is about 10 mins away.Overall good experience 

Laceby manor getaway

Beautiful cabin with hot tub, they attend to the hot tub every morning. We chose the 2 bedroom accommodation, both rooms had their own bathrooms with showers that lead onto the hot tub area. The beds are very comfortable.
It’s truly a home from home with Stunning views out onto the golf course. The whole cabin was spotless. Would definitely visit again. 

We had an amazing break

My partner and I went for our mini moon (the day after we got married), I’d emailed laceby manor the week before and told them this, nothing was mentioned as we checked in not even a congratulations which didn’t make us feel special. We paid a lot of money for one nights stay which was not worth the price.

Included in the price was a treatment that I got from a very inexperienced masseuse, the treatment was supposed to last 50 minutes and at best was 40 minutes.

The service from the staff in the restaurant wasn’t great, had to ask for water for the table 3 times.

The food was good and the grounds are lovely.

Overall I think the pricing needs to be reviewed as it’s not worth the money
