A very welcoming Travelodge in a great location for the town centre and the train station. Sharon was particularly helpful when we arrived and helped us enormously with our parking. Sharon was also very knowledgeable about the local area and suggested some places to visit during our stay.  Heidi, who took over after Sharon was also really helpful and polite when we called at reception later on. 
The room was clean and had been updated to include loads of usb sockets which is really useful.  All in all it's been a great stay. Thank you for making us feel so welcome x

Does what it says on tin

This hotel was ideal for my visit to the area, I had been in Newport for a meeting, with no access to a car, so needed somewhere with a convenient location to the train station, it took me 3 mins to walk. Hotel was quiet and the staff were lovely, room was very clean,

The staff at this hotel work so hard, they will do everything they can to make your stay perfect, Debbie, Heidi, Yasmine, Mel, Rachel, Sharon. All absolutely a credit to this hotel and travelodge, the rooms are spotless, the rooms are quiet, don’t be fooled by the outside area, inside is perfect

Amazing experience and a very clean hotel staff was amazing throughout my stay manager Debbie was amazing and the supervisor mel went above and beyond was made very welcome and the rooms were very modern and up to date will definitely be staying here again

Good room, excellent help from receptionist. Room was clean and had everything I need. 

Limited parking was a bit of a pain, and was what there was expensive.

1 night wtay

Stayed for business here.  Clean room. Hotel close to train station and restaurants. Ideal location. Deb on reception was super helpful with directions to bus station. Had a good nights sleep here. Quite quiet. Would stay again in the future.

Good sleep, good location

This hotel was exactly what you would expect from a Travelodge, clean and everything you would want. The staff were friendly and the location is good, city centre, opposite the railway station. However, and I realise this is completely beyond their control, I stayed on a Saturday night and the noise outside kept me awake till 3am.  Couldn’t close the window as it was quite warm. It was like the last days of the Roman Empire, shouting, fighting etc. etc. from 10pm onward… and the smell of a certain kind of ‘cigarette’ was very strong. Be aware when booking at the weekend.

Stay was great and we had a very nice time. The receptionist was very helpful and available to assist at all time .
