I stayed at Nama-Stay B&B  (Ash Grove) over the Christmas period and had a wonderful stay. Tabs is a wonderful host and could not have been kinder. The room was lovely and the location is perfect for all the local amenities in Harrogate. I will return and would highly recommend this B&B to anyone. Fantastic! 

Wonderful stay!

My friend and I stayed last weekend, it was certainly adequate for what we paid.  Very clean, everything you need in the rooms, good towels and toiletries, lovely breakfast served by the host Tabs.  
It is in a perfect location, directly opposite the Conference centre, and a 10 minute walk to the centre of the town.
Would stay again if we visit the area.

Lovely Place to Stay

Just returned from a 3 night stay at this lovely accommodation.  We were welcomed by the owner Tabs, who directed us to the parking in the adjacent residential street, literally a minutes walk, you need to display a daily parking pass which is supplied by the accommodation. Tabs gave us a menu for breakfast, if you wish to have breakfast you leave your order in the breakfast room by 8pm the night before. We only had breakfast on our last day which was excellent, really good bacon.  
My friend and I shared a twin room (Room 4).  This was a really good size for a twin room, not massive but certainly not cramped.  Comfy beds, tea and coffee provided with big mugs.  The en-suite is small but, well appointed, completely adequate and beautifully clean. Our room was to the back of the building and lovely and quiet.   We were offered servicing of our room which we declined, no need for it on a 3 night stay. We requested more teabags and they were there for us when we cam back.  There is a small wine fridge in the room which we didn't use.  
The accommodation is less than 5 minutes walk from the nearest  bars and restaurants, and the choice is phenomenal.  If you're going to be there on a Saturday, best to book in advance though.  It's an 8 minute walk to the railway station. 
Tabs was really nice and helpful, offering advice on travel, parking and what was going on.  We would definitely come back.

My wife and i have just returned from a wonderful break at ash grove, now called  " nama stay ".
Tabs, what can i say.
A more hospitable, friendly host you would be hard pushed to find. Her warmth and helpful nature made our stay, and we so loved our many chats with her.
A beautiful human being who when we had to leave early due to a family crisis, it felt like leaving a friend.
Our stay in every way was superb, the room was lovely, breakfast as good as it gets, beautifully cooked with excellent produce.
Location perfect location for everything, we had room at front.  Ignore people whingeing about road noise ! Double glazing made it a peaceful stay.
Parking permits available with ample parking very close by.

A wonderful stay

I stayed recently in a single room.  Overall it was a good enough stay and in a great location  The room was comfortable and the shower room good but there was some mould in the shower.  Nice little table and chair at the window but a mirror above the table would have been helpful.  It was quite noisy as the room overlooked the road but it did quieten down after 10pm.  I found the long list of rules off putting and unnecessary.  I understand they don't want to access rooms due to covid but fresh towels would have been nice.  Breakfast was lovely and I would stay here again.

Good enough

We booked direct, and were promised off street parking, but unfortunately this could not be accommodated - we were informed of this after arrival.
 We parked on a leafy tree lined street, using a permit provided by the host.
I have a hidden disability, which flared while we were there, exacerbated by the  extremely hard bed and pillows- we went out to purchase pillows and a topper for the bed. 
We informed the host we wouldn’t be able to stay due to discomfort, to be told we would be charged for the stay anyway. 
Breakfast was average at best.
Wifi was very poor, and no tv due to a problem with the mast. Smart tv access did not work.
No heated towel rail in the bathroom, cleanliness average. Mould in the shower. 
Situated on an extremely busy and noisy road, overlooked by guests at the hotel opposite.
Would neither recommend nor would we return to this b&b.

We had a wonderful 2 nights at Ash Grove. The rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable and include all the amenities that you would need. The breakfast was amazing and we were made to feel at home right away. Thanks Tabs!

Great overnight stay

Had a wonderful time visiting Harrogate & staying in this lovely guesthouse! Tabs is a lovely host, communicated extremely well and provided us with a delicious breakfast. Our room was spotless, comfortable and I loved the finishing touches it had. Would definitely come and stay here as it was perfect location to get everywhere!
