Booked this last minute as I'd got dates wrong for a wedding. The lady on reception was very welcoming & helpful with information. Our room was lovely & cosy (it was very cold when we visited) room was clean & was perfect for us. Thankyou Kidwells house

Last minute booking

Good points were generous parking, with plentiful hot water, and good wifi.

However the room was grubby and shabby. Very dated which in itself is not a problem as why should good solid furniture be replaced on the whims of fashion? With the desperate need of deep cleaning and repainting, mould and general shabby air it all felt very neglected. There was a thin layer of dust on most surfaces that does not show in my photos, but the black mould, peeling wall paper and dirt above the radiator can be seen clearly. . Extra pillows had no pillowcases.

Dated and shabby - needs a complete makeover.

Very adequate and reasonably priced accommodation good location rooms were clean and tidy and beds were comfortable.staff were friendly and helpful it was ideal for our 1 night stop over .does what it says on the tin good parking on site 

Stay in Hereford 

Excellent place for an overnight stay. Staff very good at communicating via email in advance when booking & were able to accommodate changes as needed. Very friendly on arrival and the rooms were perfect- clean with comfy beds and all the amenities. Car park very useful. We all had a great time- thanks so much.

Great clean guest house - very welcoming and accommodating of needs

Super clean room, comfortable bed,and a good powered shower. which was all perfect for our very short stay.  Got good advice and assistance from Alison , and  Ann.  We booked Kidwells following a recommendation from a friend, it was a good recommendation and Im happy to forward that . Thank you

Socialising event stopover.

Unfortunately we stayed  in room 4 at the front of the house the room was quite warm so the windows had to be open but the noise from the road was horrific even through the night (and I wear earplugs) .The bed was wooden so every move made it creak .Breakfast was average.this review is no reflection on the staff as they were absolutely lovely.

Night away break

Never had confirmation to stay. Owner contacted but didn’t want to help in offering a refund. I understand they have a business to run however, there was no desire to help me.

I will not even consider this property in the future.

Took my money after no confirmation

Arrived early with plenty of room on the car park, was warmly welcomed by Alice who happily showed us to our room #2 and gave lots of local knowledge for our short stay 
Checking-In was quick and easy
Room #2 was small but adequately equipped with double doors opening onto the balcony which made up for the lack of space in the room
When we returned, a cold drink from the Bar/Fridge was most welcome on a very warm/hot evening sat out on the balcony
Sadly we could not give full details of the bed as we just sleep on top due to the very hot night
The buffet breakfast was most excellent, a perfect start to the day
Cheeking-Out and settling our bill was also quick and easy
We would happily stay here again when next in the area

A really excellent hotel and place to stay.
The staff is warm hearted and kind.
Smooth check in.
Great information. 
The room at the ground floor perfect.  
Comfortable bed.
The bathroom although shared did its job.
The winner is The breakfast.
A genuine full English. 

Spot on  

When we arrived it all looked very run down. It’s in the middle of an estate with a car wash next door ( check on street view)
It’s clean, we had a superior twin with balcony (which you share)
The room was small & hot.
You have one pillow each & the tv is small & almost touching the ceiling.
You can hear everything as the walls are paper thin.
We hardly slept as the bed was so uncomfortable.
The brekfast is fresh & good.
We were booked fir two nights but left as we couldn’t handle another night. When they found out instead of putting it right they played with words & the refund policy.  The mattress would of taken them two minutes to check as the springs you can feel just by rubbing it. I did explain this.
I would stay at premier inn. You know what you are getting. The rooms have air conditioning & hopefully they will be more accommodating with any problems
