All staff interactions at the Premier Inn were good. I want to praise Becky in particular whose positive and helpful attitude really stood out (I previously worked in hospitality for many years). In an age of digital over real, a human smile goes a long way... well done.

Customer Service lives on...

This site is crying out for a refurb!!!

It's got the nicest staff who deserve a much better hotel to work in each day. 

It's got car parking included, good location for the town centre and train station. The station cafe next door is excellent value and the beefeater pub is perfectly decent too. 

If you book far enough in advance, you can get a good price, but I'd gladly pay a little extra for a refurbished room. I've been staying here regularly for years and before every visit I hope that the powers that be have given the much needed green light to get it refitted. Alas, still nothing :(

Crying out for a refurb!!!

I booked a 4 night stay in the Premier Inn (north) at Horsham over Christmas. to be near family.  Even though they knew they didn't have an internet connection due to an ongoing problem with Virgin, they took my money and didn't inform me there was no internet There still isn't as I understand and its been going on for several months. This was a major problem as we all want to connect with friends and family  particularly overseas, over Christmas,  They should have told us and given us the choice to book elsewhere but on  24th December it was too late. 

Over the 4 night stay our rooms were never cleaned, beds never made,  bins never emptied, clean towels never given and coffee/tea never replenished.  The twin room I booked turned out to be one double bed and a sofa bed.

The only good thing about this stay was the receptionist who was unbelievably nice and gave us fresh towels when we asked.  What a cheap and nasty hotel this is,  It completely spoiled our  Christmas holiday.  Be warned.

Nasty Premier Inn

We stay in this hotel while visiting our son and his family. The room is clean, the bed comfortable, breakfast is fine. And the staff are always friendly and helpful and welcoming. It’s useful to have a reliable and good value restaurant adjacent. 

Reliable quality

The hotel room was too warm, you could not control the temperature. It is on a main road so having the window open is not an option because you get disturbed by the road and station noise. The beds are very uncomfortable. The hotel could do with a refurb it is dated, and feels neglected. The rooms could improve their cleanliness as well. 
Check in queues were too long. We attempted to check in at 4pm - but the queue was too long so we left after 10 minutes, then returned later at approx 6 pm, and it still took about 15 minutes of waiting. 
Carpark needs a bit more lighting, and tidying up - litter everywhere. 

Poor sleep

Stayed here and have so many issues ranging from lack of interest from staff, cleanliness, tiredness of rooms. All I can say is that there is merit in the statement you get what you pay for! If you pay cheap you will receive the same.

Horsham premier Inn

Arrived with a pram and baby. Room on third floor. No lift. Check in staff incredibly rude. Told me he was too ill to help me (alone) with my pram and no other staff available. Said I could go on the ground floor but they don’t put lone female travellers down there as it’s policy and potentially unsafe. Understandably I didn’t want this. Offered no solution but was just very rude and unhelpful. After a six hour journey with an infant I was almost in tears, asked to see the manager who was extremely helpful and resolved by keeping pram on ground floor, also offered complimentary breakfast. Please do not book if you need lift access. The ground floor is apparently very noisy also. 

It ruined my experience and I was very upset but the manager by contrast was lovely. The hotel is also as other reviews have mentioned incredibly hot even in winter.

Horrendous checkin experience

A great experience at this Premier Inn. Free parking, good, central location, warm welcome, comfortable room and beds and great breakfast in the morning. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and will visit again in the near future.

So much more than I expected

Excellent value for money room and breakfast for two under £60 room very spacious bed super comfortable WiFi worked well good shower coffee making facilities also
Hotel very peaceful clean and easy to find

Gatwick stopover

Great location and really friendly staff. We were visiting family in Crawley but not hotels available so stayed in Horsham (the next town over). Free parking, staff in the hotel were all very friendly, Beefeater restaurant next door was quite so food was fresh and fast.
