I knew Three Wells in my childhood as a full working farm. But oh when I arrived with family to stay what a wonderful surprise. It’s set in a stunning position by a small lake with swans and ducks. A lovely welcome from the owner. It’s so quaint. The room I had overlooked what I think was the orchard when I was a child. The room spotlessly clean, very comfortable, lovely little basket of coffee tea etc., and bar of chocolate. And bottled water on bedside table. The bed very comfortable. It was lovely to wake up the birds still singing.
Very comfortable lounge and small bar. And the owner was so attentive. I would stay there again.

Beautiful Location and a wonderful place to stay in Howey.

A lovely quiet setting in mid Wales but sadly very over priced. 
Room- adequate but nothing special especially as we were paying for a suite. No mention prior to arrival that housekeeping was minimal. Perhaps it would have been better for the owner to have cancelled the booking as we felt uncomfortable being the only guests in a 17 room b&b. We understand COVID being in our late 60's but not the lack of service or attention to detail.
Breakfast was good each morning but no offer of more tea or toast, the owner just disappered.
Heating is controlled centrally so at times we were freezing despite having raised the issue.
On leaving the owner admitted he should have given us prior warning, but by now too late.
I think a good gesture would have been to offer some refund but alas this didn't happen.
Would we stay again or recommend, sadly unless the 'hotel' and owners up their game, then a big NO.
4* hotels that we have stayed in change less and offer a better overall experience. We choose because of previous reviews and location.

Lovely location, not as good as expected.

This was perfect for our needs, we were down from north Wales for an event and this B+B was perfect for our needs. Spotlessly clean, spacious bedrooms and a wonderful breakfast in the morning. We would recommend to anyone.

The Perfect B+B

Spent a night here as part of a training course for work. What a gorgeous place! Set just outside the main town, it is set amongst gorgeous countryside in a quiet, peaceful location. The owners were very friendly and the food was superb. I was in room 9, a lovely twin room. The wicker basket of goodies is a lovely touch. The bathroom is clean with a good shower. All in all, a fantastic hotel in a great location. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

Lovely hotel

What a gem. Wonderful small hotel surrounded by farm land. Peace enfolds you.  Very comfortable beds and good shower.  Breakfast was delicious and well presented 
 Staff friendly and helpful.  A great find.

Delightful overnight stay

We loved this hotel, very comfortable in all areas, spotlessly clean and great shower in the room though we did have the option to have a soak in the sumptuous bath.  Generally our room had everything you needed and the view from the window over the lake was amazing. We both enjoyed watching the wild life first thing in the morning and walked several times to meet the horses on the other side of the lake. Great breakfasts, good choice and they were happy to adapt the breakfast for us. The staff were very friendly too. If we visit Wales again we would book the Three Wells Hotel again.

Beautiful setting, comfortable hotel

Booked super last minute on Booking.com. Arrived 10 mins after booking the room, greater by staff member, very welcoming and fast! Lovely room, clean and comfortable. Breakfast included and was a
fantastic standard! Would definitely recommend and will stay again. 

Great Hotel, Friendly Staff, Great Price and food

Stayed at the Three Wells as half way stop to Pembrokeshire with my girlfriend. Booked as part of a groupon deal with dinner included. Didn’t really know what to expect as it was a last minute booking, it was a little gem in the middle of Wales. The surrounding area was beautiful with lots of places to have a peaceful walk. 

The room was nicely decorated and the extras in the room like the crisps and waffles were a lovely touch. The bed was comfortable however it did creak a lot with the smallest of movements so did disturb your sleep. 

The food and hospitality was brilliant!!! The restaurant is a must, I think the chef is Greek, so there is a lot of beautifully done Greek dishes on the menu. Breakfast was also great, lovely variety. 

As mentioned only flaw would be the bed but overall a brilliant stay. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful one night stay

Me and my partner stayed for 2 nights after booking through Groupon and we we enjoyed stay. The B&B is in a nice location and offer a good view of the private lake. The owners were very welcoming and helpful, and were easy to approach. We were allocated Room 8, which was good but there a few small things which can be improved. We both had 2 pillows and both were flat - we had to use the cushions from the armchair to help. There were also small holes in the bed sheet, but this is only minor as it didn't affect the comfort of the bed. 

The food from the restaurant was very good, and we both enjoyed our breakfast and evening meal, albeit for one Creme Brulee which was too runny, but the owner allowed my partner to pick something else when we escalated it.

Enjoyable stay. A few tweaks away from outstanding.

Bathroom door faulty and once in you can’t get out. Very scary when travelling alone. Springs came through the mattress. I do not think it is acceptable to charge for such a poor room! However lovely treats in room.
No response when I contacted the hotel which is very disappointing. I hope that the door gets fixed before someone gets trapped in all night!
