We had our wedding here… 18/10/2023 and wow! We had the most amazing day… All the wedding coordinators were helpful from start to finish and nothing was ever to much trouble for them. 
Food was incredible and portion size huge compliments to the chefs. Everyone who stayed said how beautiful and comfortable the rooms were, breakfast was also delicious! It really was the most amazing day

Wedding October 2023

We got married at this lovely house on December 9th  and had the best day ( and evening) ever.
From the very beginning we were made to feel special. 
Thankyou to all the friendly attentive staff for making our day great.
We will be coming back very soon.

Wonderful wedding day

Not quite the decor I personally find restful. A lot of black and silver and dominating dark wall paper. I stayed in room called Butlers.A large comfortable bed with comfy pillows .  
A window with no view, the bottom half of the sash window was obscured and when opened looked immediately onto an adjacent roof. 
The room was cold and radiator cold. Despite repeatedly reporting that the   radiator was cold and repeatedly being assured that the problem had been fixed ,it never was fixed during my three night stay.
The shower room was small and a very small hand basin that was slow to empty. Again reported but not dealt with.
No toilet roll holder , toilet rolls placed behind toilet on a glass shelf!  No holder for soap or shower gel in the shower.
However,the shower was beautiful with plentiful hot water. A nice hot towel radiator which helped to warm my room by leaving the bathroom door open.
Good choice of foods for breakfast .The same menu was presented each of my three nights for the evening meal which was disappointing. The meals I did have were peasant and nicely presented.
All the the staff were friendly,polite and personable . I understand the  owners of Dunedin were away and the issues I had had with the heating were difficult for these young members of staff to manage.

Group stay of bird watchers  with Naturetrek 

Danielle and James Barron were married on the 9th Sept, I would like to thank every member off staff they were  all superb from start to finish,I can not thank them enough. The service went well ,even with grandson Henry's vocals. The food was amazing. We spent a lot of time outside as it was the hottest day of the year and nature supplied a lightening show in the evening. The rooms and cottages were all lovely and very clean, breakfast set us up for the day. Many many thanks from Danielles parents Carolyn and Phill Fisher and baby Henry aka tank

Daughters wedding

We visited this gorgeous boutique hotel whilst working on a wedding there and met with the friendliest staff. A special mention to Kerry number 2 for her efficiency & thoughtfulness, much appreciated in these times when excellent customer service can be a rarity.

Gorgeous wedding venue

I just wanted to say thankyou ,we had a lovely time on Sunday celebrating our mother's 80th birthday.

From the moment I made our booking I have received a personalised service making arrangements for our lunch when I was unsure of numbers due to coordinating a family living in different UK locations and abroad.

We had a warm welcome from the staff at Dunedin House and were provided with our own dining room adding a intimate and perfect setting for an 80th birthday lunch. The lady looking after us was very personable and fun.

 The food was excellent,very tasty and well presented, with a good choice of starters, mains and desserts, although we had our own birthday cake for dessert, which was very accommodating of Dunedin house to allow this.

 Our day was very special building memories, helped by the lovely setting and ambience created at Dunedin house.

Sunday lunch birthday celebration

We got married here and it was perfect in everyway.The venue was beautiful and the staff were amazing.
They attended to all of our needs without hesitation.I would recommend the venue and amazing staff and wish we could do it again.

Best Wedding day at the perfect location!

We came for Sunday lunch on 29th with my daughter and partner as we wanted them to see where we are getting married in December ( and to eat lovely food of course!)
The lunch was delicious and we couldn't move for a while as we were so full 😂 and the service was perfect.Thank you Sarah for your hospitality.
We can't wait to get married there,it's as beautiful house with excellent staff and a very friendly atmosphere.We're so glad we found it.

Great service,great food!

The venue is very nice and the staff very nice. The day was lovely and everything went according to plan. 
The food was ok but not very warm. 
The bedrooms were cold and the let down was the breakfast. No choice just served on the plate. There was juice and cereal but not what I would have expected as some guest came to the hotel for breakfast and it was £15. Not much for that. 
We did have an amazing day but with a little more effort it could have been outstanding.

Wedding

We had our special day in March 2022, the staff where lovely and very helpful on the day catering to different dietary requirements and changes on the day that had not been disclosed! The only niggle we had was our cupcakes had disappeared on the day and where not served. 
House Dj was fab and we had a memorable day, food was amazing as always.
