This place does amazing food! Very good menu, loads of choice, (especially compared to other places which have really limited their menu at the momemt). Lots of traditional English meals and desserts. All great portion sizes and reasonably priced. Food was delicious, proper homemade food. Will be returning in future! 

Meal in Restaurant

Just returning from a 4 night break in this fabulous B & B. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the hosts who accomodated us brilliantly throughout our stay. From our later arrival, enabling us to have a great meal in the restaurant to the great breakfast choices on a morning...possibly the best bacon we have ever had and eggs cooked just as we liked them! Sinead greeted us every morning with a smile and her bubbly personality and she couldn't do enough to ensure we enjoyed our breakfast service. The guest house was spotlessly clean throughout and credit must be given to Dave, Anya and their team as all measures under the Covid guidelines were being implemented. We felt completely safe whilst inside the B & B . We enjoyed a few drinks in the evening in the bar in the company of the hosts Dave & Anya and even had a bit of entertainment from Dave playing music from his Shadows collection on the guitar! Overall we had a great stay. We hope to return and would definately recommend.

Fabulous find

My wife and I have just spent a lovely week at Dave and Anya's b&b and restaurant.  We were lucky enough to have the use of one of the apartments which consisted of a spacious sitting room and a kitchen as well as the usual bedroom etc.  Parking can be a bit of a problem but they still deserve 5 stars on account of the truly brilliant staff who always made us feel as if we were the only customers in the place.  The food was nice (especially the steaks) and we had the comforting impression that the COVID regulations were being taken seriously.  This gave us the confidence to relax in the knowledge that we were being looked after.

Our 1st post-lockdown holiday

Arrived Friday and was warmly welcomed. I did not even have to carry my case. Everyone has to wear a face mask from the front door to your room. This made my husband and I feel safer straight away. The room and bathroom was very spacious and had its own separate lounge for our use only.  The bed was really comfy and cosy. The room and facilities were absolutely spotless from top to bottom. We made our own beds and folded our own towels as we did not want anyone in the room for long, for our own and staff  safety (Covid 19)The bathroom was cleaned daily , bins emptied and tea tray was replenished.
The breakfast was not help yourself, but they had a good selection of cereals , fruit and cooked breakfast which was all served to your table.Could not fault the food at all.
We had two evening  meals in the restaurant , again good food , good portions and very good standard.Brilliant staff. I would highly recommend having a meal there even if you are not staying.
We would like to say a very big thank you for making our stay feel safe, and very enjoyable.
Very high standard of hygiene and cleanliness through out .

Three night stay after shielding

The room was very clean and tidy with daily replenishing of amenities tray,coffee,tea etc emptying of bins making of bed and also fresh milk on demand in a flask.The room no.5 exellent in every possible way consisting of separate sitting room,seperate bathroom and separate spacious bedroom.Owners Anya and Dave and not forgetting Trisha who served us huge high quality meals,lovely people,we were there from Monday to Friday for our honeymoon,fantastic stay

The best friendliest b and b

My wife and myself both went here again for a Friday Night Evening Meal in the Restaurant, and we both had the steak meal etc with the free bottle of wine which was excellent and the service is excellent, thank to David and his wife for keeping such a well run Establishment, and hope you both have a lovely holiday to Scotland shortly.

Richmond B & B is a great place to stay. Can not recommend it highly enough, the room was spotless, the bed sooo comfortable and breakfast was amazing. We just walked in off the street and were lucky enough to get a room. It was my husbands birthday the next day and I secretly told them and when we came down for breakfast there was even a card sitting on the table. They really are such lovely people and I most definitely would stay there again if we are back in Norfolk. Thanks all the team at The Richmond, your stars !! 

A little Gem

Wow what a lovely friendly place been hunstanton many times but first time coming for dinner here and we will be back for sure. Staff are lovely!! Great choice on the menu , food was very nice massive portion size !!! We will be back for sure! Wood family ! 

Lovely place 

Stayed here for 2 nights with my folks. All of us agree that the Richmond is fantastic. The staff could not do enough to help us. The food is hearty and filling. Worth noting they only accept cash payments, not card. That aside the vibe from this B&B is wonderful, they also have the history of their background transcribed and framed in the main bar. 

The rooms are ideal, I was in a single room, my bathroom being a separate room directly opposite, which was perfectly laid out. My parent's double room had an en suite and we all agree that the beds are the comfiest beds we've slept in for some time. Additional touches include a lovely little tupperware box containing items you may have forgotten! 10/10 would stay again...I would also advise the profiteroles for dessert!

Friendly, helpful, homely

This is the first time of visiting this restaurant even though we are 
locals. We came on a friends recommendation and we are so glad we did. 
The service was very warm and welcoming, nothing seemed like too much trouble, there was lots of choice on the menu and also a specials board. We both had steak done exactly how we liked it. My partner is fussy and doesn't eat tomatoes or mushrooms so was given extra onion rings. The portion size is huge! But we still had room for pudding. Which is also a very generous portion. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back again.
