Lovely clean hotel. We spent 4 nights there and could not find any faults at all. Soon made friends with resident cat Olly . Definitely would stay there again. Close to shops and beach. Plenty of cafe's and places to eat.  The owner of the Gables is a lovely caring person, who never fails to answer your questions.

Could not praise enough this hotel

We booked 3 nights in The Gables Guest House and did not know what to expect as this was our first time in a Guest House.
Linda the owner was very quick to respond to an early arrival request this was not an issue.
The Gables is located so close to the sea and 10 to the local amenities.
 The Gables is a wonderful town house, set on a very quiet street, the room was spacious, comfortable and very warm and welcoming – you cannot ask for any more.
The facilities within the room are fantastic, Iron, hairdryer, fan, Kettle with plenty of tea, coffee, milk and sugar – far beyond anything I have seen in any hotel,, there was no fear of running out of anything. 
The bathroom had shower gels; shampoo and hand wash etc. and not cheap toiletries.
Linda the owner is a lovely warm welcoming person who was there if you needed anything or as we wanted a recommendations where to eat an evening meal and Linda was spot on with her recommendation of Chives.
All in all this was a very memorable visit to Hunstanton in a beautiful guest house with a warm and welcoming host – Linda, thank you for being you!


The best Guest House in Hunstanton

Really enjoyed our stay at The Gables, the room was spacious, comfortable and very clean and in a central location that was ideal for a stay in Hunstanton, I would definitely recommend and would stay there again

Weekend in Hunstanton

We had a beautiful room with a balcony and comfy bed. Tea and coffee in our room too. Self service continental breakfast suited us perfectly. We loved seeing Oliver in our room in the morning. Linda is lovely host and we would thoroughly recommend this guest house for location to everything in Hunstanton and surrounding area.

Just had a fabulous weekend at the Gables...Beautiful big room, very clean and bright.

Wonderful place to stay...Highly recommend 

I stayed here with my other half and outlaw for a weekend. 
Rooms are very clean and tidy,  beds are extremely comfortable (though I'm sure I didn't get all of my half). Facilities in room are good and help yourself breakfast continental style more than adequate.  Balcony at breakfast and in the evening off bedroom with wine and clear views of passing space station very enjoyable. 
The sea was also visible and  good restaurants within walking distance as recommended by Linda our host. 
She works hard to make your stay pleasant,  enjoyable and memorable without being imposing and her new partner Oliver sounds in my opinion like a huge upgrade on the previous Fawlty fella mentioned on earlier reviews.

A pleasant weekend

The rooms are clean and tidy and well equipped.   The bed was very comfortable.   The balcony was a lovely extra.  The host was exceptional, friendly, helpful and made our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as could be.  You could not ask for more here.  Her partner, Oliver the cat, is gorgeous and sweet and well behaved.  I would highly recommend this place.

Have just got back from spending the weekend at The Gables, what lovely hotel this is   really felt at home from the minute we arrived until leaving. Linda the owner is a lovely lady who goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable, I was in room 1 which was beautifully set out with everything you could possibly need also with the added bonus of a balcony I would highly recommend this hotel , thank you Linda for making us feel so welcome into your home

Home from Home

The room was excellent everything and more you need provided the owner super helpful and friendly .. the guest house itself is a lovely building with lots of character .. you won’t be disappointed if you stay here

Excellent highly recommended

Ideally situated within walking distance to the beach and restaurants.  We stayed here for four nights, it is situated in a very quiet street where you can easily park.  Everything we needed was in the room - tea, coffee, clean towels etc.  The Covid precautions carried out were second to none. No one came into our room throughout our stay, even to make our beds, which make us feel very safe.  Linda wasn't doing breakfast due to restrictions but recommended a cafe close by. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thank you very much for making our trip to Norfolk perfect.
