This property seems to have changed its name as it is now known as The Beach Escapes.  We had a two night stay here late in October and had chosen to stay in The Admiral's Deck, the top floor apartment of the five in this building.

We were delighted with our apartment, which has been well planned and thought out, with a nautical theme running throughout. The apartment is comfortable, modern and practical, with many basic necessities provided, like tea, coffee and sugar, foil, condiments and washing and cleaning bits. We were also provided with a welcome pack of goodies including milk and croissants.

It was absolute bliss to be able to sit on the balcony in October with a glass or two of wine and watch the sun go down!  The promenade was fun to watch too, with a variety of people and families making use of the good weather to take some exercise and many waved!

This holiday let has been arranged with secure entry systems and you are given very detailed explanations for your arrival.  There is a communal reception area where a pantry and fridge contain extra things like wine, beer, soft drinks, cereals, jams for payment in an honesty box - a lovely, practical idea, which I've never seen before.

The bed was huge and very comfortable, we slept well.  The shower was excellent too.

Waking to hear the waves lapping on the shore was an absolute joy, something it's so rare to find on a break like this.

We absolutely loved our stay and hope to return again some day, we'll also be recommending it to many of our friends who also like nice places to stay.

Had a lovely 2 night stay at Beach escapes.  We stayed in the Gulls rest apartment. It was lovely and clean and really nicely decorated.  It was nice that when we arrived there was a welcome pack and food in the fridge. We enjoyed our private space in the garden and made use of it as the weather was so hot. It is right on the beach so you have a great view from your garden whilst sitting there. We didn't know how to work the oven so the parents of the owners who live next door were very helpful and came in to show us. I will definitely return next year. 

Lovely 2 night stay at Beach Escapes. 

We’ve just got back from a 2 night break at this beautiful place, we had our dog so stayed in the ‘stones throw’ apartment. It exceeded our expectations which were high anyway after reading the reviews. They have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The attention to detail is perfect and we enjoyed every second of it and will definitely be going back in the very near future.

Perfection

Selfishly, I don’t want to tell you how wonderful this place is so it won’t be fully booked when we book again. We reservedthe whole house for 2 nights as a base for our daughter’s wedding. The owners leave complimentary essentials in all the rooms and even allowed us to host a post-wedding breakfast for wedding guests the following morning on the terrace overlooking the beach. All the rooms are spacious, clean and well decorated and we can guarantee you will not be disappointed if you book a stay here. Sophie has been extremely helpful throughout the booking process and even left a bottle of bubbly for our daughter to celebrate her special day. Even the cleaning staff were friendly and polite when they came  in on the last day. Thank you The Beach Escapes for making our weekend so special.

Fantastic place to stay if you like attention to detail

We stayed in the Captain's Cabin and it was the best self-catering accommodation we've stayed in. The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need and more besides. It was spotlessly clean and everything was of the highest quality, eg facilities, fixtures and fittings and decor. Beautiful beachside location and private terrace. We loved it and will be back!

Absolute perfection

Booked three apartments for a very special family gathering. Lovely location over looking the beach at Hythe. Accommodation was beautifully designed & of a high standard with good attention to detail. Outside seating was really nice & good quality seating. A fabulous weekend had by all.

Excellent

Great self contained appt. All mod cons, very clean / new facilities (admirals deck) even tho storm Ciaran gave the place a battering, giving us a good view of raging seas, felt secure / looked after, owners checked we were ok. 10/10 Would stay again. 

Great self contained appt.

This is a hidden gem which far exceeds expectations.  The modern interior and stylish decor makes it an ideal base from where to explore Hythe and surrounding areas.  The location facing the beach is exceptional and we can fault it in any way.  Definitely go back.

Fabulous experience 

We have just spent 2 nights at this fabulous b&b. Very warm welcome from the owners. Room was exceptionally clean and smelt lovely. Bed was comfy. Breakfast cooked to order and was lovely. I cant speak highly enough of this place and would definitely return. Thank you very much

Absolutely fab!!

Absolutely lovely stay at The Beach. Penny and Paul were true hosts and the communal area with complimentary refreshments including wines, beers, cans of soft drink, fruit juices, treats, snacks and cakes was a lovely touch! It was our anniversary and petals had been placed on the bed for our arrival. In the morning there was an issue with the hot water, but Paul was quick to knock on our door and offer us a shower in their own home (located next door), which was a really kind gesture. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and yummy; we were disappointed that the weather meant we couldn’t sit out on the terrace overlooking the beach. We will return very soon. The Beach is well located close to the beach, town and a great selection of restaurants.
