Channel Vista is a lovely comfortable and welcoming B&B with excellent facilities, a great breakfast and a delightful owner. It’s ideally placed on the coast path. Well deserved it’s excellent rating.

Lovely comfortable, welcoming B&B

Wonderful host who made us feel very welcome and at home. Room was very clean and comfortable. Fantastic breakfast and great cental location. It has parking available which is useful and is just a very short walk to the beach. 

Wonderful guesthouse

What a lovely B&B and Michelle the host welcomed us to help with our luggage!! The place is clean and has a very homely feeling. The deco is fabulous and the bedrooms were comfy, clean and roomy. The breakfast was delicious and Michelle went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Will definitely be returning. Lovely little walk to the beach too ♥️

Fantastic B&B!!

Michelle was the perfect host accompanied by her 2 lovely dogs tilly and zula. The guest house was in the perfect spot for walking to the local beach. The superior king room was excellent with sea view and the bed was soòoo comfortable. Rooms are very clean and well kept. Breakfast has plenty of choices and cooked to perfection. Would recommend this guest house.

Michelle and her staff were wonderful so friendly & helpful Good breakfast and very clean room with all the usual amenities.  I would recommend this Guest House to anyone looking for accommodation. There s a car park available. 

Channel Vista Guest House - Combe Martin   Great place to stay

Welcoming host Michelle; Ideal location for walking the South West Coastal Path or visiting the area for longer, facilities and cleanliness second to none - I stayed the previous night in another hotel which was over twice the price for less facilities, more limited breakfast and less welcoming.
I will definitely return for a longer stay when I continue the Coastal path walk or visit to explore the area and have no problem recommending the Channel Vista.

Ideal stop over, welcoming host and excellent facilities

Unfortunately the Channel Vista Guest House today decided to cancel our reservation one week before we were due to check in, leaving us without accommodation for the wedding are attending.
We booked back in October 2022 so they’ve had plenty of time to tell us. The reason they gave booking.com was Overbooking - absolutely outrageous that they can overbook their hotel in this day and age. I assume that our preparedness booking so long ago has meant that they wanted to accept later bookings at a higher rate, but whatever the reason, to overbook their hotel and leave us without accommodation one week before we are due to stay is shameful. 

Apparently they even hung up on the booking.com representative when he called them to try to sort this out for us. We didn’t receive any apology from the hotel or anything. 

Book at your own risk as you might find yourself in a similar position to us.

Michelle was very friendly and helpful, 
 Right on the coast path easy access to places to eat ect.
Had a very peaceful atmosphere and breakfast was 1st class. 
Would recommend if visiting coombe Martin 

Short break

Michelle was incredibly helpful with all my enquiries (and I had quite a few!) and as friendly when we arrived as she had been on the phone. The beds were very comfortable and all items we could have needed for our stay were provided in the lovely clean room. The breakfast was AMAZING. All in all excellent value and if I return to Combe Martin (we are walking the South West Coast Path) I would definitely stay here again. BTW very close to the path!

Lived up to the Reviews

Michelle was incredibly accommodating for us - we arrived very late and she was very gracious in waiting up for us. The bed was the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in - we were tempted to ask where it was from to buy it for our own home! Breakfast was delicious!

We were also lucky enough to meet Michelle’s two beautiful dogs before heading off onto the next stretch along the South West Coast Path.
