Always look forward to our stay at The Crescent . We have stayed here for over 20 years and have never been disappointed  . Spotless , well equipped rooms and although only had dinner in the restaurant a few times , the breakfast is amazing . Great choice and quick service .

Amazing Stay

Had another amazing stay at The Crescent . We stay here regularly, and cannot fault it . We have stayed in all the rooms over the past few years and all are clean and comfortable especially the suites which are also well equipped . The breakfast is also wonderful with a great menu . Thank you Stephen and all your wonderful staff. 

Wonderful Stay at The Crescent 

Brilliant stay, rooms clean and big, comfy bed, pillows amazing. Breakfast was 10/10, good choice and cooker perfectly. Havent tried the dinner yet but Resturant is always busy. Customer service again was spot on.

stayed here on the 21st jan for 1 night.
 1st floor room at the side of the building. rooms are fine and the bed was so comfortable. shower great, nothing to complain about. also heard NO noise from the road or bar next door.
we all had a full english breakfast this morning which all 4 of us thought was one of the best we have had and served by two young and happy waitresses. 

we would definitely stay here again .

great stay

After reading reviews on here I was a touch panicked! However such a good experience. We booked the three suites, they were all very clean, spacious and together. Check in was easy, parking was available, and the beds unbelievably comfy. The location was central but not noisy, slept perfectly well and as a Saturday night I would have expected more noise than we had. 
Breakfast was beautiful. The morning staff could do with a little pep talk about smiling but it made no difference really.

Will definitely visit again

I travelled to likely with my parents for a family funeral and stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The parking is a little tricky and very confusing with a limited time duration as you are only allowed to use the hotel car park if you have booked a suite!  However, Emily made a very anxious couple of day a lot more comfortable by sorting us parking , organising a taxi to the funeral and  ensuring that under the circumstances we had a pleasnt stay. A lovely young lady with excellent customer service skills . Thank you Emily.
We ate both nights in the restaurant . The food was delicious and excellent value for money.  
I would certainly stay at the hotel in the future

A lovely stay under very difficult circumstance's

Stayed here for 3 nights. The room was a little small but this did not bother us as we were out and about during the days and evenings. Room was exceptionally clean and bed was very comfortable. There were small details in the room which could do with some minor touch ups but nothing major. Food in the bistrot is excellent and all of the staff that served us were very good. I would definitely stay here again.

Great venue

We booked two rooms for two nights as we, with our daughter and her husband, were attending a wedding with the reception in Ilkley. We were in Swinton and our daughter was opposite. Nice rooms - compact but everything we needed, including a comfortable bed and good shower.  The staff were helpful and polite and there was a good breakfast menu. We had a great night's sleep on Thursday and enjoyed a look around the lovely town before the afternoon wedding. 
We arrived back after the wedding reception...and there the problems started. Our rooms had windows on the side of the hotel nearest The Yard Sports Bar, which apparently has a licence to play very loud percussive music until 3am. We could feel the vibrations in our beds. There is nothing the hotel can do about this - so we were kept awake until the music stopped and the people left - loudly - at around 3am.
Our daughter and her husband then had to face the long drive back to Cornwall the next day (and we had a 3.5 hour drive) feeling absolutely exhausted with just a few hours sleep.
As I write this review I'm also composing an email to Ilkley Council to ask which idiot granted such a licence to a bar so close to the rooms of a hotel that has been there since 1860. This isn't the fault of the hotel - but if you are staying over a Friday or Saturday night ask for a room on the other side of the hotel from the bar.


Good hotel but beware  rooms that face The Yard Sports Bar - VERY loud music until 3am

Loved our stay at ‘Rooms @ Bistro Pierre’ (Crescent Inn).  After initially being put in an extremely noisy room & the tiniest we’ve ever stayed in, we asked if it was possible to move.  A man named Richard on reception arranged for this to be done for us.  He was friendly & helpful, nothing seemed too much trouble & he moved us to a beautiful spacious room on the other side of the building.  Plenty of room, stylish, nice bathroom & the comfiest bed ‘ever’ - probably the best sleep in a hotel I’ve ever had.  Hotel is in a great location with parking very nearby & the food in Bistro Pierre is gorgeous.   If we’d have stayed put in the first room we’d have not stayed here again but the service provided by Richard, together with the room move, turned what looked to be a miserable stay into a great experience & we’d certainly come back.  For future visitors, pay the ‘very small’ price to upgrade to the next size room - it’s definitely worth it.

‘Lovely Stay’

Lovely big bed, stylish room and very comfy bed.  Noisy in our room either due to people in the room above or perhaps some stairs above our room.  .  Didn’t bother me too much as I sleep with headphones in but if you are a light sleeper it may be worth knowing.  Great breakfast, friendly and welcoming staff.
