This must be one of the nicest bed and breakfast places I've ever stayed in. Its beautiful setting is enhanced by a neighboring field containing a donkey and miniature horses, all of which are obviously as well cared for as the guests. 

The owners — who are charming, attentive and friendly without being intrusive — have obviously given a lot of thought to every aspect of their set-up. One of their many nice touches consists of fresh coffee and croissants delivered to the very comfortable outbuilding where we stayed.

Kevin the host was most friendly and knowledgable. He gave us a great tip for Steall waterfall we trekked to the next day.

The place is cosy and looked after. Plenty of hot water and a great night's sleep with some nice quaint views.

They were quick to call me when I left my jacket there, pity phone reception was so bad I didn't get it until quite a bit later!

Beautiful location, welcoming hosts. Daily visits from the Donkey and Ponies. Accommodation was warm, modern with all the essentials you may need....but still retained a homely cottagey feel. Everything had been thought of. Angie and Kevin were available if we had any queries. They are knowledgeable of the local and wider area and had lots of advice for eating out or places to visit. Plenty of wooded walks on the farm itself  but also a great base for visiting Isle of Skye, Fort William, Inverness and more. Definitely an excellent place to stay 😊

Ardgarry Farm - a perfect holiday location

Stayed at Ardgarry Farm last year and returned with a friend this year. Always a warm welcome. Always clean and comfortable accommodation.  Make sure you bring some carrots for the donkey and ponies - they are very friendly!

Fantastic holiday accommodation

Amazing scenery surrounding classic farmhouse buildings, each arranged for a classy comfortable accommodations. 
Lots of space outside for the kids to run around and safely explore; donkeys ponies and a unicorn (?) to interact with.
And charming hospitality with Kevin offering warm welcomes and local knowledge.
Ardgarry Farm won’t disappoint.

This Is The Place To Base For Your Scottish Highland Adventures

Enjoyed a wee break at Ardgarry Farm. Ang and Kevin are very friendly and helpful. Thanks for the suggestion to visit Fort Augustus to see the locks on the canal in action- I could sit there all day. 
The lodge is very comfortable, cosy and clean. 
Looking forward to our next visit.

Lovely stay

We are renting a self catering lodge at Ardgarry Farm and everything has been perfect. We had a wonderfully warm welcome from the owner, plus a welcome pack which came in very useful!  The lodge is warm and comfortable, including a log burner in the sitting room, which gives a warm glow and made us feel at home!  The bed was comfortable, good shower and bath and well equipped kitchen!  Lovely views in every direction, including ponies and donkeys!  The owner directed us to some superb walks, where we have caught sight of numerous deer, which is exactly what we were hoping for!  This is turning out to be a very memorable week indeed!  The Highlands are magnificent!  We nipped over to Skye and ventured up a very steep and never-ending track to see the old man of Storr!  Or was it a replica of his thumb?  The Dunvegan Castle is a must if you are visiting this delightful island!  We went on the Loch Ness cruise, but it was a bit squally and we didn’t catch sight of Nessie, who it seems might be a monster sized eel!

Lovely Lodge

Had another fantastic 4 days staying in one of the chalets at Ardgarry Farm.  Lots of walks with stunning views.  Chalet was equipped with everything we needed (including a welcome basket).  3 bedrooms, two with double beds and one with 2 singles, a kitchen area with toaster, kettle, microwave, oven and fridge - all the crockery you need, pots/pans and cleaning materials (incl tin foil & clingfilm).  The lounge area has a table/chairs, 2 big sofas, a tv and free sat box.  The bathroom was clean and there was hand wash, toilet roll and wipes provided.

The chalet was warm and inviting on our return from visits to Fort William, Fort Augustus and surrounding areas.  Kevin was a great host and answered all our questions.  All the lodges were occupied but it was so quiet.  We had the most relaxing time there along with our dog who loved the open spaces to run about.

We will be back.

Chalet with a view

We only had an overnight here en route to Harris. It would have been lovely to stay longer. The Summerhouse is so well appointed and the immediate surroundings are very quiet and peaceful, although not far from the main road. Nice touches with the welcome basket and heating. Also it was exceptionally clean. Thank you!

Cosy, comfortable... perfect!

We were here for a short break in one of the lodges.  The location couldn't be any better.  Nicely situated for Fort William and Fort Augustus and a good base for venturing out further afield (time to the bridge onto the Isle of Skye for example is an hour from the farm though a add some time on to this as there's plenty to stop and see on the way).  On our arrival we were taken to the lodge by the owner, Kevin who then gives a good brief on the workings of the lodge.  Both Kevin and Angie were the perfect hosts, friendly and have a wealth of local knowledge for your questions about where to go and what to do.  A nice touch was the welcome pack provided on arrival, fresh milk and hot drink items.  We only came up from Fife but for those travelling long distances this is a nice thought as you don't have to try and find a shop to have a cuppa when you get there.  On the subject of shops, we were advised that Tesco do deliver to the site (from Inverness) and though we didn't see any shops in Invergarry the nearest is a Spar in Spean Bridge and others in Fort Augustus.  The lodge was perfect for our needs and dog friendly.  It was warm enough when the temperature dropped, plenty of hot water and the bedroom though small were good for our size party.  Kitchen area has been recently refurbished to a very good standard and contained a good selection of crockery and cooking utensils and pots and pans.  There was even washing up liquid, scouring pads, cling film/tin foil and kitchen roll so basically everything you need.  The lounge/dining/kitchen area was a good size and had 2 good sized sofas in there.  There’s also a TV and freeview box plus wi-fi though we had good an excellent 4G signal there (Sky Mobile).  Particularly noteworthy is the views and setting of the farm/lodge area.  If you want peace and quiet this is the place to go.  Even though all 4 lodges were occupied throughout our stay there was never any noise and never heard anything else apart from animals in the areas around the lodges.  Our granddaughter absolutely loved the resident horses and donkeys that were kept in the fields adjacent to the lodges.  The views were also spectacular with Ben Tee being the main highlight on the landscape.  As mentioned before there's plenty of places to go and see plus great area for walking and cycling.  There are some fantastic cycle paths that run through the area.  We did the path that runs from the Bridge of Oich (about 4 miles from the lodges) to Fort Augustus and back, a round trip of just under 10 miles.  You can extend this to follow another path that runs from further south along Loch Oich but we ran out of time and days to do this.  
Overall a lovely stay and will definitely be back.
