An old but lovely B&B with extremely friendly and caring hosts. Wonderful people! Very good breakfast, in a beautiful breakfast room, above average. Free on-site parking, 20-25 min to walk to town centre. We stayed there for 2 days and would definitely book there again. In an older house it's natural that you can maybe here footsteps from the room above, but that's something that you will find even in  good hotels. Recommendable!

booked a room here for 1 night ( tonight ) had problems finding it eventually found it tight turn into the carpark at the front of the property I parked next to another car the owner came out to say they needed to get 2 more cars in he asked another guest to park his car closer to the fence so i moved mine closer ( I have a vw toureg 4x4 it's a BIG car no where was I told parking would be tight or asked what car I had ) we were taken upstairs and shown the room it had a separate  private  bathroom opposite the room the door wasn't locked so anyone as well as us could use it? It never said it was for our room only the room was small and cramped with a sloping roof so hard to use the kettle without banging your head ..... the smell of food cooking was over powering ( the owners were cooking ) it filled the house and didn't smell very nice the tv didnt work after taking to the owner you can either watch netflix ( i would of had to use my own Netflix account i wasnt prepared to put my details in or youtube no other channels available ) after an hour we took our cases and left I didn't bother explaining why we had left no point we were still charged the full amount and we booked elsewhere

Liked · We were extremely satisfied with our stay at Glasdair. The hosts, Max and Angela, were so nice and supportive!! The were also very communicative and we enjoyed also a lot of fun with them and our family ;-) We were served very good breakfast every day. Coffee and tea were always freshly prepared for us and more toasts were served even without asking for, excellent service! Warm breakfast was prepared on demand for extra small fee. Rooms were very clean (and cleaned up every day for us), beds and mattresses were extremely comfortable and we did not want to wake up and get up each morning, wanted to stay in comfortable beds if there were no trips ;-) Overall our experience was simply GREAT and also our price for the stay at Glasdair was more than competitive outside the season. We really felt like at home! Very recommended.

Disliked · We did not find any inconvenience during our stay, we do dimply recommend to book and stay at Glasdair and enjoy a stay in tradition Scottish house with traditional Scottish hospitality!

Excellent short Scottish holiday at Glasdair enjoyed with our Family

We stayed overnight on our way to Ullapool to catch the ferry to Lewis. We arrived quite late 9pm but had previously messaged to say it might be later, pleasant response to say No Problem. Great welcome and whilst the room decor was somewhat quirky, it was very clean, comfortable and we slept well. Early beakfast at 7.30, more a continent spread but eggs, sausage and mushrooms were on offer. Lots of choice. Would certainly stay again. If you like chain hotels, then this maybe isn't for you, but if you like homely, friendly and comfortable at a great price compared to the alternatives I'd highly recommend. 

Very Happy

Very  nice first floor accommodation with two double bed, views onto the back of the house and river. Cooked breakfast was one tomato one sausage and an omelette and brown and white toast. However the bath room let it down as the door would not shut proper the hosts were very welcoming

Quaint location 

Lovely,  quiet place, with river view, close to town centre, very nice hosts,  clean and good for family of 4 break, facilities four out of five, relaxing noise at night from river just in a back garden, last minute booking but very happy with this choice,would recommend 

Very nice

Property is old and rundown, rooms and beds are completely different from other photos and the bathrooms are filthy.  We weren't the only people who weren't happy - another couple refused to book-in once they had seen their room/bathroom and left with a promise of a refund by the booking company through which they had prepaid. Unfortunately Max had already taken my cash before we went into the 2 bathrooms  (which is what they prefer by way of payment) and as it was a bank holiday weekend we couldn't find anywhere else at short notice.  There is also no soundproofing so everything can be heard from adjoining rooms, including the noise the owners make from downstairs.  Nightmare trip.

It doesn't look like this any more - what you see is not what you get.

Excellent B&B /GREAT VALUE

My best friend and I just spent 3 nights here in room number 4. A beautiful homely B&B which sits on the bank of the River Ness. The hosts were very warm, lovely, welcoming and very happy to please. They were very helpful with directions and recommendations of places to eat and see.
The room was big and nicely decorated and very clean. The bathroom was also big and very clean with a lovely shower.
Tea and coffee facilities are available in the room.
Breakfast was included and served in the room with a little table set up for 2. Fresh milk and yoghurts were in the fridge. Individual boxes of cereals and fruit and muffins were also available. Eggs cooked to our liking and hot toast was brought to the room at a time of our choice each morning.
There is so much to see and so many places to visit in the area and we would definitely stay at Glasdair again. 

Besties on tour

Amazing service! Huge portions of breakfast, big selection and delicious. Lovely couple who treat as like part of family. The room was big and bright. The bed was comfortable. I loved the shower as it was enough room inside to turn around and unlimited hot water. Our window was facing into the backfield where you can find the river with a beautiful view. We couldnt wish or ask for more what they can not sorted for us. We could highly recommend them for who wants to stay in Inverness in a familiar place with great and excellent service.
Car park also available in front of the house and in the back yard.
The area is quite and peaceful.
