Perfect getaway to Skye for a couple of days at half term. Taking our lad up for an interview at an Outdoor sports college, we stayed with Vanessa, Martin and family at the Otter Lodge B n B in Broadford. Brilliant accommodation for outdoor people, v friendly, welcoming, v comfortable, helpful. Highly recommended.  

Otterly brilliant!

We had a very enjoyable two night stay at Otter Lodge. The accommodation was very clean, well appointed and comfortable. Our bedroom was spacious and had everything we need for our stay. Breakfasts on both mornings were excellent Our hosts, Vanessa & Martin looked after us extremely well. They had a very good knowledge of the local area and were able to advise us on various places to visit together with options foe eating out. A good centre for exploring the area and highly recommended.

Otter Lodge, Broadford, Isle of Skye.

We enjoyed two nights at Otter Lodge as a family of 5 plus an infant. The location is good - overlooking the water and close to Broadford restaurants and services. Vanessa and Martin were so welcoming and accommodating to our family needs. The rooms were very comfortable and impeccably clean. A highlight was the delicious breakfast. We would come back for sure and highly recommend.

Lovely Skye B&an

We enjoyed a two night stay at Otters Lodge. Martin & Vanessa couldn’t have been more welcoming. This is a lovely, clean and relaxed place to stay. Beds were comfortable, bathroom spotless - breakfast was delicious. Our hosts are very happy to share their vast knowledge of the area.  Read their blog - such interesting people! 
Broadford is a great place from which to tour.

Brilliant B & B

We really enjoyed our 2-night stay at Otter Lodge. The room was spacious and clean and the breakfast was delicious. Our bathroom looked recently renovated and the shower was much larger than expected for Europe. There was plenty of parking and the hosts were helpful in planning our day trips and offering dining tips. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Gem of a place to stay

The Otter lodge bed and breakfast was excellent!! Great location, great views and maybe just and hour or so to famous attractions on the Isle of Skye. Very clean and great host!! Martin and Vanessa were incredibley freindly and helpful. Martin is a wealth of knowledge about the Isle of Skye and most of Scotland. The breakfast are delicious and cooked to oder and rooms are 5 star qualitly. You can't go wrong staying there. It's in the little town of Broadford and  you can walk to the market or the little antique market and many restaurants. Highly, Highly recommend!! In my eyes it's a 5 start stay!!!

Otter Lodge
This B&B has six rooms. For some reason we were made to rent two, but for that had the bathroom and toilet to ourselves. The room was a bit small, but I used the working table from the other room. WiFi worked well. It is run by a friendly couple. Breakfast was completely adequate. The price is high for a B&B, but it does seem what you need to pay these days.

Nice place to stay

First time staying here and hopefully it won’t be the last lovely clean  room with a wonderful view .We were made very welcome by our hosts  when we arrived and the breakfasts were fantastic Martin and Vanessa were wonderful hosts and nothing was to much trouble

A lovely place to stay

On our whistle stop tour of Skye we stayed at Otter Lodge for one night and we were not disappointed.

The room had the most amazing views from the window and had a great en-suite shower room which was very clean.

Vanessa was the perfect host bringing us breakfast on a trolley which made us feel very special.  With Vanessa's knowledge of Skye we were able to plan our day to ensure that we made the most of our stay on the island.

I would definitely recommend this a great place to stay, especially if you are taking part in outdoor activities as they have facilities to accommodate bike storage and wet suits.

Lovely 1 night stay

Otter Lodge is a must stay if you are planning a visit over the sea to Skye. 
The rooms are extremely comfortable with all the usual amenities. Ideally situated to make the most of a stay on the island. 
The hosts Martin and Vanessa could not do enough to make our stay a comfortable and enjoyable one. Their knowledge of the island, where to go, where to eat and what to do is exceptional. 
Can’t reccommend it enough.
