We had an awful night's sleep at this hotel with our children in a family room. The heating was on FULL blast in August and we couldn't sleep. We had a ground floor room and so could not keep the windows open all night for security and because of the road noise. We complained in the morning and the receptionist gave us details to contact head office. Other guests overhearing us complain also complained and said their rooms were also unbearable. Complained to head office based on their good night's sleep guarantee - an absolute con! We have stayed in Premier countless times and this is the first time we had to complain. Nothing was done - apparently because we did not book a hotel which had air conditioning we could not complain about boiling to death in their rooms because of their faulty heating! Do not stay here if you like to sleep well.

Room like an oven!

Stayed at the hotel lastnight and had the best sleep ever! Struggled to get up this morning!😅 nightshift receptions Calvin and Kelly were lovley and a credit to the hotel! So friendly, welcoming and nothing was a trouble for them! - will definitely be back to stay again!

Great sleep

A typical Premier Inn… providing a clean room and comfy bed….but the staff in the restaurant (Brewer’s Fare) were atrocious and a complete disservice to the brand.
In short they shut the restaurant early at 9:30pm due to staff shortages. That would have been bad enough but when customers rightly complained that we’d had no warning the staff  tried to insist we had been told (we had not) and this was done so rudely, speaking to customers with an air of contempt.
On leaving I said I had never experienced such bad customer care, to be told the other customers had been rude to them (they hadn’t…they were just showing their displeasure and then getting more annoyed with the staff attitude which was raising the temperature of the discussion)

To be clear the staff in the Premier Inn itself were lovely ….but as a result of the staff in the Brewer’s Fare restaurants I won't be returning and I will think about booking a Premier Inn again.

Good hotel - dreadful restaurant

The Hotel stay was pleasant enough but getting a bill for £100 for parking there was not!!! The bill arrived some two weeks later even though I was registered as a guest and logged into their parking register. Guest will want to beware of bringing their cars.

Dreadful parking practice

Easy to find, lots of parking spots. The desk was unmanned when we arrived, and the screens were down, but staff appeared quickly when we pressed the bell.

The room was comfortable and dust-free, although the bath could've done with a deeper clean. Extra pillows were available.

My only complaint would be the lack of security. The door to the rooms takes a while close, and staff seem to open it to anyone. When I was leaving in the morning, they opened and held it for a couple who hadn't yet checked in. 

It wasn't expensive, but you can get a better experience in a better area of the city for around the same price, including some right in the city centre. I've noticed Premier Inn prices creeping up over the last couple of years, while independents remain stable. Shop around.

We had arrived at the hotel and the self check in was not working, the staff member who checked us in was extremely rude to me and my partner, once we arrived in the room it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the last person only the bed had been made, no staff were able during the day so we slept in a dirty bed , the heating was jammed on and the room was that warm we had gotten a chocolate bar out of the vending machine and within half a hour the chocolate was melted !! Could not sleep at all as the room was to hot

The most poor hotel I’ve ever stayed in

We booked two rooms for one night. The night before we arrived we were contacted by the hotel to inform us the restaurant had been closed on site so no dinner or breakfast was possible. No option was offered to us (such as moving us to another premier with working facilities) and as it was the day before we couldn’t easily find a replacement. We were just advised to eat before we arrived. On arrival the computer system was broken and there was a queue to check in. In the double room there was only one set of towels. There was vending machines but the one for bottled water was empty. On checkout the receptionist shouted across reception for us in front of other guests. Despite having all our card details on booking they had not taken payment and insisted on taking a written record of credit card details which is very uncomfortable. Even if computer systems are down there should still be facilities to pay electronically. Even the most basic vendors can achieve this with a gadget bout from screw fix. This was a really really poor experience and one I would not like to repeat.

Terrible experience

Unfortunately the room was so hot we couldnt sleep! They provided an industrial fan which was so noisy there was no way you could have it on and sleep. The manager said the heating was busted and was  left on in my room, 27.5 degrees all night! I complained to reception but they said contact online customer service. The ast manager said he would phone me that day and failed to do so. I have filed a claim to get my money back, still waiting! This hotel has never failed me before but was disappointed with stay and the poor management response this time.

HOT HOT HOT

On a TV/Production shoot up in Kinlochewe and I’d already based myself in a lovely hotel in Inverness, but the ‘powers that be’ opted for ‘cheap and cheerful’ accommodation for all the staff and so it was off to the Premier Inn at Beechwood Business Park.

Staff were lovely and welcoming as it was a late check-in but by this point I was dead on my feet and all I wanted to do was get the key for my room, grab a hot shower and have an early night, and that’s exactly what I did!

Room was surprisingly spacious, it was cleaned to a high standard, it had a huge comfortable bed with many light settings, there was even a large fan, I was pretty impressed.

I had a few pleasant and very comfortable nights here, so I’m more than happy to recommend. 

These Premier Inns may be regarded as cheap and classed as low budget, but I found them very comfortable and cheerful, well done to all the staff I encountered.

Premier Inn (East/Beechwood) Inverness.

An overnight stopping point after a trip to the Hebrides. Easy location to find with good access to the A9. Rooms were very hot (not the fault of the hotel), and there was a Brewers Fayre adjacenr for evening meal and/or breakfast.
