Beautiful bedroom with comfy bed. Tastefully furnished.  Excellent en suite with bath and separate large shower.  Breakfast cooked to order and was delicious as was our evening meal.  The hotel was quiet and we slept very well.  Would definitely return.

Excellent boutique hotel

In with a fairly sizeable party in good spirits for a Christmas Lunch.  Staff directed us through to a room at the back, which if a little cramped, probably was a great shout in that we had our own area and let others dine in peace.  Set menu provided with the standard 3 or so options for each course.  Food was fairly standard fare, nothing unpalatable, but some of it seemed quite 'samey' as these things often can be with Christmas lunches.  Some delays during service left a few of the party waiting a while for courses when others had theirs much earlier.  Always a balancing act when there's a big group and the staff were apologetic for the delay.

Christmas Lunch - pretty good

Very acceptable hotel, well located in Inverness.  The beds were comfortable, the room was clean.  The parking lot is an added plus.  The hallways leading to the room are rather labyrinthine so it's a tad difficult to maneuver with a large piece of luggage.  The staff were very helpful in this regard, assisting us as we navigated to the room.  We would stay here again.

Nice place to stay in Inverness

Staff were exceptional in terms of consistent friendliness and helpfulness. The food was good. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. The location was convenient for the airport and the town centre. 

Great hotel to stay in

The room was nice, but getting there was interesting. the parking lot has a gate that if you pull up will open and you will need a coin from the staff to open the gate when leaving. I was aware of taking suitcases upstairs, but narrow hallways with lights that only come on when you open the door was a bit strange. The air freshener used in the room was very strong. The staff were friendly and helpful and the included breakfast was good. Overall I would choose another location should I return.

Good breakfast but difficult getting to rooms

Good location, 10 minutes to central Inverness.  All,staff we encountered at The Heathmount were friendly & helpful. A real quality feel to the hotel.  We stayed in room 6 (attic double) & it was really nicely presented with excellent decor, finished to a high spec.  Lovely comfortable bed & pillows, very clean and everything you needed.  We also ate in the hotel which we rarely do & service/food was excellent.  Not sure what else to add except would definitely recommend and stay again if in area.

Quality independent Hotel, would recommend

Great good and even better lodging, crowned by  a fantastic staff and perfect location. The Bar is an attraction in itself. Beautiful mix of local flavors and modern cousine, comfortable, cozy. Stayed there for the second time, hope there’s many more.

Don’t miss staying here

Delighted to return last week. First class service, staff very friendly and efficient. Room was fabulous, great walk in shower. Dinner was excellent with loads of choice. Thank you all - can’t wait to return.

Our favourite

We took a winter break in Inverness and having read TA reviews opted for the Heathmount. So glad we did as this is the best hotel experience we have had for some time. Every inch of the hotel looks like it has just been modernised, from decor to furniture. All was pristine. Service is exceptionally good, staff amazing and food superb. So close to the city centre and with free parking, what more could you ask for.

Wonderful Experience

This is my 3rd stay at the Heathmount and as usual it didn't disappoint. Great location for me to be able to head off early morning to Ullapool, comfortable room, friendly staff and great bar. Would highly recommend
