Shocking specially Samuel who is dealing with the property is a massive liar shocking

WARNING DO NOT STAY HEAR ........ I'm never one for leaving such a review but hear it is ...

On arrival looked good from out side . Once in the nighmare started 

Double room it was a single room the bathroom is bigger

Bedding was dirty and Staines over them 
The room was not clean was dirty marks over the drawers.  Douse not help they are white as it stood out like a sore thumb 

The cupboard in the room is disgusting (photo on hear ) never once took my clothes out of case 

Window in the room is being held up by nails one on each side 

Can hear a dog barking through out the night 

The bathroom 

Shower to get hot water you have to put it on cold pressure is rediculas there is a big gap at the top of the door makes you feel very uncomfortable as it's about a a4 size hole and you can see the doors of other rooms 
The bath is being held together with tape . 

The kitchen is dirty (photos given) please look the microwave is dirty and falling a part the toaster is disgusting the pots and pans I would not eat of as dirty . Carpet that leads from living room is a danger as it's a hazard due to tripping .

We had gone out to make the best of this horror of a place to come back to this 

Cleaner with her hole family in as she done her work kids and partner.  Now I have no problem with children at all . I am a foster parent but what got to my self was the cleaner shouting at them we where up stair in are room she was telling them to shut up and the noise was really loud kids will be kids leave them be but she could be heard all through the house .. she also did not do her work she sat on the couch watching tv until she heard movements from any of the people that where staying . She also has a drug problem you can see that clear and was very ignorant even though we said good morning have a nice day ect 

Now I'm a wild camper so I can deal with a lot of dirt and muck but this place even had my self cleaning my own room  

PLEASE DO NOT WAST YOUR TIME AND MONEY IT'S NOT WORTH IT .

This is nothing like the property advertised, I arrived to find I cannot park outside the property after 8am, which there is no mention of, it leads you to believe you have your own bathroom which I do not, would is hanging of the doors, no heating I have just driven 10hrs today to arrive to this place, I would like refunded and cancel my next two nights

Awful

When I made the booking I was unaware that this place is totally unattended, self check-in. Apparently they sent a code to my email that I could use to unlock a key then show myself to my room, but I didn’t have access to the email so I couldn’t get into the property. There were three different phone numbers listed to call for assistance, one didn’t answer (I called about ten times), one was disconnected and one said it was out of service! Why have help numbers if you don’t intend to answer them???? We lost over an hour and a half trying to reach the hosts, ended up calling hotels.com (we had booked through them), they tried calling the guesthouse, couldn’t reach them either, so hotels.com was nice enough to put us up in a different hotel nearby. I still haven’t heard from the guesthouse and I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re somehow still unaware that I was unable to enter their property. I get that this place is cheap but seriously you will not receive help of any kind from the hosts, you will never interact with them and any problems with your stay will go unattended to.

Don’t do it!!!!

We stayed here for one night only and weren't disappointed or happy. It's definitely not like the guest house we stayed in previously but arrived to see a name change. Holiday House. It's essentially a multi-person bookable air bnb. We got our check in instructions via email which was good coz we were arriving at 10pm anyway. Like I say it did the job for an overnight stay and was the cheapest option for Inverness at the time - which by the way is still expensive.

We got a huge room downstairs though. Pretty plain with no mirror, ok bed and TV in a random placing. The room had it's own keypad lock which wasn't the easiest to use. And then bathroom was private to us but had another keypad lock entry as well. Which meant even though we had a private bathroom, we had to walk through the public hallway to get to it.

I was trying to keep costs down for one night and this did the job. Next time though, I might spend the extra $50 for a proper place.

Just an overnight pillow

During the peak season, I booked this guest house for two nights. After that, I read all of the horrible reviews, and I was worried about it. But overall its was not that bad.

The guesthouse is located near the rail station - it's a 15-minute walk. 
The residence was very quiet and its near Tesco and Spar. Its also very simple and easy to check in.

The room was spacious and clean with an excellent mattress, clean bed sheet and comfortable duvet. 

The bathroom was clean. 
It's not 100%  but reasonable. 
The shower head was leaking, and the water pressure was reduced however the basin, and the toilet bowl was okay.

The kitchen is spacious.  
There is a microwave, kettle and fridge.
Despite the reviews, the wifi functioned well.

I just checked out and and I'm off to Edinburgh. 
As I said, it's not that bad, and some could even call it a nice residence.



Nice to stay. 

I stayed here last night the 16th into the 17th of June 2019.

On arrival you phone for a key code for a lock box to get the keys, although this is not a bad idea the front door was wide open so anyone could have been in the house.

I got to the room and the door simply pushed open this is the most insecure place I have ever stayed!!

The room was small grubby in dire need of renovation. There was no kettle, no iron, thr drawers on the cabinet were broken.

But far more serious the electrics in the only socket in the room were EXPOSED!! see attached picture. The smoke alarm in my room is broken!!!

There is no curtain in the room so as it's the summer the light was flooding in the room till it eventually got dark.

On to the bathroom the hot tap in the bath did not work. The hot tap on the sink spun round as did the one on the bath.

The water in the shower trickled out and was not hot. The large mirror in the bath room was propped against the wall by a cabinet out right dangerous for children.

This is so dangerous I am calling the police, trading standards, and the ombudsmen for bed and breakfasts.

Please book somewhere else!!! Do NOT risk your family's safety.

DISGRACE, DANGEROUS, INSECURE, NOT SAFE, DELAPIDATED, NOT WORTH IT, LOOK ELSEWHERE

A DANGEROUS PLACE TO STAY!!!! 

I stayed here as a stop over heading north. The hotel description is totally unlike the reality. Self check in means keys are in a security box behind the outer door. Front door handle hanging off. In room, lamp and heater had no socket so unusable. No TV or kettle in room. This was a single room but I would imagine this applies to all. Shared bathroom ok but water took forever to turn warm. It’s as clean as the last guest left it, so for me I was left a few hairs. 
Back in the room the only socket was hanging off the wall and of the two towels on was badly marked which made me question if it was clean. The snib on the room door was loose and not secure.
A poor standard overall, and although cheap, should not be allowed to operate in its current standard.

I should of kept driving to final destination - don’t book.

Booked this back in July 2017 before we were due to travel around the North Coast 500 route. Found out when we arrived that there was no one to meet us, and when speaking to someone on the intercom, who was elsewhere, it turned out our room was double booked! Judging by the reviews since we were due to stay here, it sounds as though we dodged a bullet! Luckily we managed to find another guest house with a vacant room just around the corner. I'll cut to the chase here.........AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE!! We booked it through Booking.com in the February that year and are amazed to find out that it is still being advertised on their website. Thankfully we got a full refund.

One star...........only because I can't give it a zero!

I arrived on time for check in and my room was not ready. There is no reception and you can just walk straight in the door. The lady who was getting the room ready was nice but not officially an employee and was volunteering and staying on site. 

The room itself was very shabby. The bedside lamp was topped over as the base had smashed. Drawers wouldn't stay shut on chest of drawers (not that i was unpacking!). 

Very flimsy lock on my bedroom door and felt a little unsafe there as a lone female traveller especially as the front door was open. 

Toilet seat was broken but can't comment on the shower as I packed up my stuff and moved to a more comfortable and professional guest house nearby. 

I would avoid this place, it's not a guest house!
