Cracking little room. Very clean and tidy. Most rooms had everything you need, iron, hairdryer, kettle and tea/ coffee, TV, hangers etc. It's a basic place and a little outdated,but the price reflects that. Lovely, kind staff and owner.
Regarding location, it is a very short walk to the town centre, so couldn't be better.
I would recommend paying at the beginning or in middle of stay as they can be a bit difficult to locate early in morning.

Good location,clean rooms, kind owner.

I stayed here for a weekend with friends. The rooms are nice, clean and comfy. We booked breakfast and it was really good value for money. The bar is a traditional cosy pub with a juke box and pool table which we used. The staff were really helpful and pointed us in the right direction for our meal! Everything is so central we were spoilt for choice. Thank you to Kellie who made sure we had everything we needed. Will be back. x

The perfect weekend stay & amazing location in Inverurie 

Great value for money.  Got an early check-in as heading to a wedding .Staff were very friendly and couldn't do more to help. Rooms are basic but do the job nicely. Perfect location. Would stay here again.

Cheap and cheerful.

A couple of friends and i went to the beer garden for a few drinks one afternoon, disappointing to see the waiting staff not wearing any sort of face masks, and one in particular was going around touching a bunch of different customers. we ordered our drinks, and they came out in plastic cups, only a quarter full, not even convinced there was any alcohol in them as just tasted like lemonade. certainly won’t be back any time soon and hope for the sake of the health of their customers and staff they start abiding to the social distancing rules and wearing face coverings

unpleasant visit

I booked this hotel with booking.com because it had a free cancellation policy. I had to cancel the booking which was done within the specified date. OYO then sent me a message to say they would be taking out a booking fee to which I replied that the booking had been cancelled. They then took the £65 booking fee out of my account anyway! Booking.com have been helpful trying to facilitate this being refunded however OYO is being extremely slow at refunding. Without me chasing, I doubt if this process would have begun. After 3 emails to the OYO UK escalations team and 2 calls with the OYO customer service department,  I have now been told the money will take 10-14 days to show in my account. I’m not holding my breath!

Avoid! OYO slow to refund money for their mistakes

Family run hotel and the family  are exceptionally nice.     Bedroom was adequate but nothing exciting.   Rather dated furniture and no wardrobe just coat hangers behind the free standing mirror.   Not useful when you require to hang dress trousers.    Bathroom was adequate but no heater so rather chilly and shower cubicle very compact.    

Breakfast was excellent but the room used for breakfast had not been swept in a few days as lots of dust and fluff along the floor of the skirting boards.   Shame really.

INVERURIE WEEKEND

Stayed here overnight as we were going to a party. The hotel is 2 mins walk from the town centre. Room was comfortable & warm. Breakfast lovely. The only comment was that there was no obvious front of house. We had to check in at bar, with customers able to see what we put on the registration form. Staff were polite.

A comfortable stay.

Nothing nice about the place including the staff. Everything dirty and sticky, staff and management so rude - even spat at my car! Never to return and don’t recommend to anyone! Drinks under fizzy and over priced. Glasses smelled of cleaning products, did not leave a nice taste at all.

Pits - would not return

Staff very friendly. Breakfast was yummy, but dining room a bit sparse and needing upgrade. Needs comfy and clean. No shelf near sink to put toiletries and no wardrobe. Hangers for clothes directly above TV so once you hung something up, you wouldn't be able to watch telly as clothes hide the screen. Teabags were horrible and the long life milk in rooms made the coffee taste weird. Had to fill kettle in shower as no room under bathroom taps. Lovely seating area outside and free parking. Drinks well priced. Would come back but only for a one night stay. Its on the busy main road so if you don't like noise stay away.

The upgrade we got due to our first room being very dirty and clearly not cleaned.
The complimentary Prosecco in way of an apology.
Location was great.
Breakfast was very tasty.
Young lady who checked us in was very helpful & pleasant.

Dislikes—
The extremely dirty first room received.
The awful smell from I presume the drains.
The curtain fell off whilst trying to close.
The slater crawling over the first rooms bed.  The older lady that served us breakfast, made us feel very awkward for complaining about the dirty room.
The excuse the cleaner had phoned in sick to justify putting us in a disgrace of a room.

Not great, young lady, Prosecco and upgrade were good, but we wouldn’t return.
