The Kinloch welcomes parties of our geology students every spring.  The hotel is welcoming, warm, comfortable and well-adapted to people who have been out in all weathers all day.  Beds are extremely comfortable, and the sound of the wind and waves very relaxing as you drift off to sleep.  Food is delicious and plentiful.  The staff are all outstanding and cannot do enough to make both individuals and a big party feel at home.

Faultless

Magnificent service, great food and excellent value for money. Robbie Crawford and his team offer the best dining experience on Arran. You must make this a stop on any trip to the island.

The bar and lounge offer a fantastic range of beers, wines and spirits and at very reasonable prices. Give it a go.

Kinloch Hotel, Isle of Arran

Just had a wonderful new year in the kinloch hotel for the 2nd year and looking forward to doing it again next year all the staff are amazing nothing is a problem food is wonderful rooms spotless and comfortable 

Amazing 

Great food! Not overpriced at all. Warm  friendly staff at the bar took our order and our food came out in no time. 
The bar was pet friendly and very clean and well kept.
We didn’t stay at the hotel as we were just passing through. The location is right by the beach with great views.

Worth a visit!

Peace and tranquility .
Arrived on a wet windy night to a smiling Gemma who made us feel at home.
Evening meal was fabulous with Frazer and co looking after everyone in a friendly professional manner. 
Breakfast with a view over Kilbrannon sound was straight out of the guide book!
Nothing in the hotel was a problem so thanks to everyone, I can't start naming names as I might forget someone. 
Well done team for making our break so special. 

When can we come back?

Our family come back year after year as we always find the hotel staff welcoming where the food and hotel are exceptional with fantastic views of the clyde and beyond . The rooms are very modern and  comfortable and our experience with both the staff and facilities are first class . Well done to all the owners and team . 

Family trip 

Lovely hotel, with friendly helpful staff. Only a one night stay and we ate in the restaurant for dinner - we booked our dinner reservation in advance to ensure there was availability. Good choice of dishes available on the menu. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

Overnight away 

This is a 3-star hotel that felt more like a 4-star hotel.
Towels were awesome!  Bathroom small but very modern & new. 
Excellent rain shower.
The bedroom was very nice and the beds were comfy.
The view of the sea was spectacular and calming.
The breakfast was superb, great kippers!
We dined there 2 nights, very nice & varied menu, great food & service.


Fantastic Place to Stay.

We did not stay st the hotel but it was recommended to us to have food. The staff are very friendly and attentive.  We had a lunch and two dinners. The food was absolutely fantastic, well done chefs and very reasonably priced. The waiting staff were very smart and seemed well trained. 
What a brilliant place, if ever back on the island wouldn't hesitate to eat there.

Brilliant food.

Visited for february half term as wanted somewhere with a pool without breaking the bank. Absolute gem of a place. Newly renovated with beautiful views out to sea. Hotel was spotless. We dined in the hotel each night and the food was excellent and enjoyed ha ing a few drinks in the very comfortable lounge.  The staff were very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we had a nice stay. They even moved us to another room as they felt the people next door to us were being too noisy. We hadnt noticed ourselves but took up the offer as the room we were offered was much better located for the pool. I would definitely return to this hotel.
