Had a wonderful four night stay here. Everything was excellent,  from communication about things before I arrived to the accommodation, to wonderful staff, to restaurant and the central location and bar. All were spot on!
Couldn't be happier and thoroughly recommend

Excellent place to to stay!

My family and I had a brilliant time staying here and found it to be a brilliant break away from London! We have two kids under 5 and they were very well looked after. We have been to places before and felt uneasy with young kids and how they might behave / be received etc. We didn't need to have spent the time worrying. I loved the food! Really hearty food and the burgers are awesome! I assume my wife also loved the food because I've never seen her eat so quickly. When the kids finally went to sleep there was a great bar with excellent hosting. 

Brilliant Stay!

“Restaurant” very basic and shabby, food ok but very overpriced. Don’t expect staff to grab their meal and sit and eat it at a “restaurant” table. Toilets led directly off “restaurant” area. Gratuity pre-included.

Pricey “restaurant” no better than pub grub

Read the reviews about eating here  and our party of 6 were really looking forward to it .All of us were so disappointed the chips had salt overload ! One of the party asked for Onions rings to go with the burger was told No as it was not served with the the burger the had chosen .They could have had onion rings  if they changed to the other burger on the menu very disappointing.
The Mussels were good .  The meal was not worthy of the 10% service charged Very Dissatisfied Customers 

First meal out in Mull

Ideal place to stay on Mull! Dervaig is a small village, very picturesque; close to Tobermory, but away from the bustle of other tourists. Tom and Hannah are the perfect hosts, offering great information about the island and how to experience it the best. Stayed in room 3; glad I was solo, as I might have hit my head on the other side of the bed. Lovely breakfast, cooked fresh for each person according to a order sheet submitted the night before. Lots of parking. Excellent food at the restaurant. Loved it.

Out of the way, picturesque, and comfortable

Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.   Rooms comfortable and clean.   Food good and plentiful with lost of local sea food on offer.    If you are there on a Thursday evening make sure you join the weekly quiz in the bar.   It's a hoot and a great way to talk to the locals.  Overall a very pleasant stay and we will return.  

Lovely small hotel with super friendly staff 

Very much enjoyed our stay at the Ballachroy, the staff could not have been friendlier. Excellent location to explore Dervaig, great walks on your doorstep. Amazing breakfasts! Would highly recommend, we will be back!

Great location, friendly staff

Stayed here two nights and greatly enjoyed it.  Staff couldn't have been friendlier or more welcoming,  Our room was delightfully large, with windows on three sides;  fine comfortable bed.  Had dinner here one night, and very good it was too.  Altogether a charming place to stay.

Only one small drawback - the shower, which we found fiendishly difficult to operate....

Warm welcome in a lovely old hotel

We were a party of 4 couples staying two nights. We all had  very comfortable and attractive rooms and also there was a sitting room for our use. Breakfast was very good. The staff and owners were very helpful and gave us good information and advice about our trip. Many thanks. I would certainly return.

Would definiitely recommend the Bellachroy

Great atmosphere. The staff here cannot do enough to help. The food is great. The specials on the menu were excellent. Rooms are warm, clean and comfortable. The location near the loch is another benefit. We would recommend the hotel. Thanks for a great stay.
