Thank you Hamish for your wonderful hospitality!  While this location is small distance (and I mean small) from Portree, it makes up for it with the view, comfort and feeling of calm that you get at Skeabostview.  We absolutely loved this place and started calling it "home" when talking about our trip.  The location is great for day trips around the Isle of Skye.  We would definitely stay here again.  

What a view!!

Had a wonderful experience at Skeabostview B&B.  The bed was the most comfortable one I slept on in Scotland and the room was extremely clean.  No details were missed including individual whole milk creamers for coffee in the room which I truly appreciated being that I was on vacation and tiring of skim milk in my coffee upon waking. The view was amazing and Hamish was so friendly and informative about the local area. We are hopeful to get back there again one day! Thank you for making our stay unforgettable. Don't forget to see the Pictish/Carved  stone within walking distance from the house!

One of the best experiences we had staying in Scotland

Very nice B&B with an amazing view. We stayed in a double room and twin room. The bathroom of the double room was very spacious and amazing shower water pressure. The bathroom of the twin room was quite small. Very friendly staff. We felt very welcomed. Both rooms were very clean.

Marvelous stay

Had a marvelous stay with these wonderful host. Just book it you will not be disappointed. Great location and a nice view from your room. Skye is a truly magical place. Just ask Hamish for local places to eat.  We loveed the Galley  so much we went twice.

Choi oi

Hamish and his wife Josephine could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. We stayed two nights and would gladly have extended our vacation if possible. The B&B is immaculate, comfortable, and centrally located on Isle of Skye. The beds are super comfortable and the view is so peaceful. Delicious breakfast with many options. We have nothing but praise for this B&B.

This is what you are looking for!

We took my 83 year old mother for a short break in Skye. We couldn't have wished for a nicer welcome from Josephine and her husband. They are such lovely, warm and friendly people. So accommodating and enthusiastic. It's a real home from home. Beautiful views from the front bedrooms too. They recommended somewhere for dinner and also a lovely route to drive around to make the most of the time we were there. Thank you so much, we would love to come back.

Lovely owners, a real home from home

Firstly, its is not a hotel it is a B&B. An excellent one- clean, great facilities inc wi-fi/ TV/ Lounge/ Info and the service/ hosts are friendly, helpful and professional.
We arrived early evening after our dinner reservation in a Portree restaurant had let us down [closed with no warning] the owner arranged for us to get a dinner in another restaurant at short notice.
Great location in central Skye for walks/ drives and visits to Dunvegan castle, Portree, The Quiraing, Fairy Glen and others.
Will definitely put this place in our 'return to' list.

Brilliant B&B

We stayed a couple of nights at this B&B and had a great time.The setting is wonderful and the views from the deck are amazing. Hamish and Josephine are brilliant hosts and made us feel very welcome. Our rooms were very comfortable and the breakfasts were superb. It is a perfect location for travelling to all points of Skye being a few miles north of Portree.

Great break on Skye

B&B was very homely and welcoming. Rooms were spacious and clean, equipped with more than most hotels provide. 
Location was also good, lots of animals and horse stables around but was a long drive to reach the B&B.

Very homely

Last week we stayed at the new Skeabost View self catering chalet, we were informed on arrival we were the first guests to say there so had to leave a review. 
The accomodation is run by Hamish and Josephine who were so friendly and welcoming, nothing was a hassle for them and they gave us loads of great advice/maps on places to see and eat and even done a few loads of washing for me haha!
The chalet itself was beautiful, with a kitchenette, small living area and 2 bedrooms with ensuites. The decor was really nice and modern and had all the little touches to make it feel homely. The beds were so comfortable and the showers were really good (power shower). The kitchen had everything you needed from dish soap, to towels and all utensils. 
If you are thinking of visiting Skye, i would highly recommend staying at Skeabost View self catering or even the B&B as the house is also beautiful, has amazing views and the hosts are genuine down to earth people. 
It is a 10 minute drive from Portree and is situated in the middle of Skye so you are within an hour of most tourist spots which was great!
We really didn't want to come home as it was so beautiful and peaceful. We will 100% be back in the near future.
