Really enjoyed my stay at the Broadford Hotel. Very spacious and comfortable rooms. It was extremely stormy outside but we were very warm and cosy in. 
The staff were friendly, especially Martin who was waiter and barman and couldn’t do enough for you. The food at breakfast and evening meal was excellent, compliments to the chef. It was so good we ate in every night of our stay. 
There was a bit of noise from the pub at the back on the Saturday night but it didn’t go on too long. 
Would definitely stay there again.

Warm, cosy and welcoming hotel on Skye

My husband and I spent our 1st wedding anniversary in Broadford Hotel. We really had a lovely stay and would like to thank Steven, Minna, hermano Martin and the rest of the team for making us feel special from arrival, to our meals and for the Drambuie and chocolate covered strawberries for our anniversary.

We will surely come back again. Thank you so much and see you soon again.

Best 1st Wedding Anniversary Experience

We stayed in room 11 which is considered a "family" room. There was a large sitting room with a pullout couch where our 19 year old daughter slept. There was a large bedroom 4 steps down where my husband and I slept. The furnishings are lovely. The hotel is in the center of Broadford and has a breathtaking view of the water.

The hotel sits in a stunning location with good walks in each direction, try going to back of hotel up the hill until you reach marble path then try if you can to get to top of hills stunning views, anyway back to hotel, Mina is top worker very friendly and credit to the hotel, Adele next door in the bar was also amazing and very hard worker, the food was delicious in the restaurant and the bar, the room was lovely very clean with comfy bed and great view , very short walk is Co op and a fish/chip shop, I have stayed a few times in Skye but this one is the one I will come back to, thanks guys for a lovely break.

Lovely hotel sad to leave

An ancient place with a beautiful view, the Broadford was a bit more than we wanted to spend for an overnight on Skye. But, we were so very happy we stayed.

The staff is absolutely delightful, I cannot emphasize that enough. The dinner and breakfast were both wonderful. This is a comfortable place to return to after a day of wet tramping around in the island or even a dry day.

We totally enjoyed our time and conversations at the Broadford. Thank you so very much, I would return in a heartbeat.xo

Delightful Surprise

We were camping in Skye and went to the Broadford Hotel for dinner, the staff were very friendly and there was a great busy vibe even for a Monday night. The views out from the main dining room were fantastic. Food was very good, I chose the baked cod from the Specials and it was delicious. We had a very enjoyable evening with our friends, thank you!

Very good for dinner, would recommend

Overall a great stay at hotel, highlights are great location, friendly staff and nice enough room. Lovely views across the bay from the restaurant which is very nice while sitting at breakfast.
We found the dinner menu a bit limited for choice and over priced for the quality of meal we received, however the breakfast was very good and plenty of choice!
We ate elsewhere on the island and found the restaurant prices similar but much better value for money.
We would stay again in future but probably wouldn't eat in the restaurant. 

Great stay

This hotel is overpriced  for accommodation and food and is ran by Skeleton staff one lass doing everything herself.  Stayed here for two nights.  Ordered the steak  and got served with a fatty lump of meat undercooked chips and one raw tomato, that's it for £30

Overpriced

As a 3star hotel this place would be fine however it's over sold in both pricing and images presented on line. This is not a chic boutique hotel!! 
We were always going to have our expectations dashed based on these factors, a shame as we wrre looking forward to the luxury. If it was 150 a night b&b it would be fine.  The bedding was however very high quality and comfortable and restaurant served a decent fish and chips...albeit expensive at 20 each

Disappointed 

We visited for a couple of nights in February. Our initial impression of the hotel and our room was good however upon further inspection of the room, we were disappointed to find marks on the ceiling above our bed, chipped paintwork in the bathroom, the ceiling was also in a state of disrepair and a dried grape on the dressing chair. Photos provided.
The restaurant food was lovely however the menu was very restricted and the kitchen closed at 8. Paying guest were turned away from eating in the restaurant which I found to be madness. 
Breakfast was a hit or miss. The full English the first morning was great however I ordered poached eggs on whole meal the following morning. It was literally 2 poached eggs on 1 slice of toast. Disappointed didn’t close. 
We visited the bar which is accessed from going outside around the back of the hotel. The bar was not in keeping with the hotel at all and we actually felt quite uncomfortable. 
Overall the staff were friendly.
