Yet again Crow Park did not fail to please! Excellent hotel, immaculate, exceptional breakfast, great location, fabulous hard working friendly staff!. This is our go to place when staying in keswick! Thankyou Crow Park for a lovely stay 😊

Excellent

Lovely stay at the Crow Park Hotel this weekend. The location is great it's close to the lake and the centre. Parking is available behind the hotel although the spaces are a tad small for cars so if full people would struggle to get out. 
The view from the rooms looking onto the lake is beautiful. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are warm, clean, with comfortable beds. Breakfast was nice there were plenty of options to choose from which is great with excellent service. 
I would certainly return and recommend to anyone planning a stay in Keswick! 

Lovely hotel, super friendly staff, fab location! 

I would recomend the Crow Park to anybody. The room was very clean and spacious,
also well provided with the tea, coffee and things you like to see. The breakfast was beautiful, I have never seen such an array of options. The manager Ian, his partner, and all of the staff, were the best you could ask for.

Lovely experience in Keswick

The hotel is in a fabulous location,  minutes from the town, lake and walking routes. The room was immaculately clean, everything spotless. The beds were comfortable and there was no noise, so a good night's sleep. We had a lovely view from our room of Derwentwater and the mountains. Breakfast was good. Staff were lovely and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The only improvements I think would be some water in the room and a couple of biscuits on the tea tray! 

Great stay

Wowza, after reading the reviews of this hotel, with a view to booking and the owners replies in response to any cristism with rudeness i will not be booking this hotel.  (20% travel agent discount or otherwise 😂) 
I must point out that i have not stayed at this hotel but rather am hoping that the owner will see how his replies come across to the reading public. Sometimes it is better to say nothing at all. 
The public understand that there will always be a difficult customer , likewise there will always be somethings that do not go exactly to plan giving reason to complain.  That is life.

Now, i need to find myself some (£12) parking

Tiny room much smaller than we expected from the photos and past experiences, with very little added extras just TG tips and oxidised Nescafe sachets, no shower gel or suitcase caddy, no hooks for your robe in the shower room, no shelving in shower for your sponge etc,  and the plug sockets next to bed ancient round things that you couldn't put another  plug into to charge a mobile, no fridge, no working restaurant in the 'hotel' for evening food, (the guy in reception said there was no need to book a chef as nobody had booked an evening meal....strange, go figure as Hotels normally have an in house hotel chef, isn't that the classification of a hotel? Maybe since covid the hotel definition has changed...? 
Plus there was no room service available for food/drink/laundry service etc, but signage displayed in the staircase rather rudely stating that; no takeaways in rooms allowed. But what do you expect when guests did not book a table in advance in town when they thought they could eat in the supposed restaurant in the ''hotel'', and the restaurants and pubs/bars in town full with no tables available for walk-ins and other 'hotels' fully booked as serve their inhouse guests? Sparce on staff in the day for check in, not very welcoming at the rear entrance, no offer of assistance with luggage or escort to room etc.. Generally not great welcoming feel to the place, plus as it said free parking on booking.com, but when I messaged the ''hotel'' to check the parking I had a curt reply with an anonymous staff message from the 'hotel' directly telling me:  

Hi Kim. Our car park costs just £6,00 per day, so in your case that will be just £12.00. However if the booking is made directly through our own web site then we have an offer of free car park. You have booked through a travel agent. Free parking is available out the front of the hotel or several council car parks near by cost £12.00 per day. If none of these options suit you Kim, you could cancel the booking and search for a hotel with free parking. Thats it really in a nut shell.

Just charming hey! SO In a ''NUTSHELL'' there are no free available spaces outside the hotel, as we never saw a free space in 3 days!!! 
Plus there are NO LAKE VIEWS anywhere to be seen from front or back of the 'hotel' but it states lake or mountain views. 
Additionally the noise from floor boards creaking absolutely eye wateringly annoying, woke us both mornings and had no sleep for either of us from 10pm till 2am with fellow guests going up and down stairs, no sound proofing at all as could hear the adjoining rooms, plus could hear and see peoples feet under the door at night which was most off putting, didn't feel safe or private.
The only plus was that the breakfast was lovely and the staff service good at breakfast.....
BUT IN A NUTSHELL....
this was NOT A HOTEL & as such SHOULD ONLY COMMAND B&B PRICES!!!   

Disappointing, NOT A HOTEL at best a mediocre  B&B with staff trying their best ;-( 

Decent establishment with cracking views over the fells. Staff were all engaging, pleasant and helpful.
Good location for a visit to the Theatre by the Lake - which is a stones throw away.
Room (Superior) was  clean with a massive super comfy bed and a spacious shower room. Short walk to the Town Centre. 
Breakfast was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had - copious amounts of everything done to perfection - unlimited amounts of tea/coffee and toast. 
Couple of little niggles - why do hotels have the most microscopic TV’s? I didn’t go there to watch it in particular,  but having to bring a pair of binoculars to facilitate seeing the screen is strange.
£6 to park your car overnight? It’s not as if I can’t afford it, but it’s a bit of a bugbear.
Apparently, parkings free if you book direct with the hotel but the charge somehow compensates for the cut the agents make from the establishment. Really? I pay for their decision to use an online advertising and booking agency? Can’t see the logic in that.
Anyway, a thoroughly enjoyable stay - even though it rained incessantly (That’s why the lakes are there) and I’d certainly return. 
Recommended - but book direct.

Enjoyable overnight stay.

3 couples just returned from Crow Park. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rooms spacious and very clean. Waiter service for full breakfast. Staff very friendly and attentive. Free car parking if booking direct 

Couple stay in Crow Park 

I was travelling with my family, 3 young adults and myself. We loved staying at this hotel. The location is a nip across the road to Keswick town centre. The views from the windows are stunning. The staff were friendly and remembered our preferences at breakfast. The breakfast was delicious and had well thought choices to make us eager to go down in the morning. I paid 6 pounds for the car park which was just behind the hotel and easy to get to. I would stay here again. 

Lovely hotel with mountain views

Best view from a room I have ever seen. Excellent service, great food, clean tidy well organised hotel. Well positioned for easy access to the lake and ferry. I stayed with my son to walk Catbells and visit the general area. This hotel was perfect for it.
