After booking dolly waggon as a quick pit stop on our way down from the highlands, it is safe to say that we were extremely impressed.

After finding a parking spot on the street adjacent, we were welcomed by the lovely Vanessa who showed us to our room! The room was spotless and beautifully decorated compared to other guest houses that we have stayed in.

The breakfast was great, we both opted for cooked breakfast (There was even a choice on what type of veggie sausage you wanted!) and enjoyed the range of cereals, fruit and yoghurt available.

Thanks Dolly Waggon for a wonderful stay, we will definitely be returning :)

An absolute gem of a place to stay!

Just spent 2 nights in the Dolly Wagon guest house in Keswick, I can highly recommend this guest house. The place is immaculately clean, the cooked breakfast  is more than adequate and it is only 5 minutes from the centre of Keswick, what more could you ask for? Nothing is too much for Paul and Vanessa, and they make you feel so welcome.

This is THE guest house ..look no further!!

I recently stayed at the Dolly Waggon Guest House with my partner over bank holiday weekend.  I can't recommend this b&b highly enough.  The owners, Paul and Ness, go out of their way to make you feel welcome and tell you all about local walks off the beaten track that you wouldn't otherwise know about.  The breakfasts in the morning set you up for the day and the location of this b&b is ideal to the town centre as well as walks from the doorstep.  This is the second time we've stayed and we will be back!

Totally Recommend Dolly Waggon B&B

The accommodations were fabulous, modern room.  Bed and pillows were so comfortable.  Bathroom was modern with amenities.  I had a delicious English Breakfast in their dining room.  My packed lunch was delicious.  Paul was a wonderful host!  He made recommendations of restaurants, Pubs that were his favorites.  I attended the local Theatre by the Lake - they had discount coupons at their entrance.  I will be back next year to stay here.  Was quiet!

Very positive, I would recommend staying here.  Was an easy walk from the bus stop at Booths.  Close to the local shops 

What a gem ! Very welcoming hosts but not ‘in your face’ type way. Great local knowledge and lovely people. The guest house is spotless. We stayed in room 5 and the huge bed was very comfy. Wardrobe space with ample hangers, lovely white fluffy towels and bathrobes. Water, tea and coffee with scrumptious biscuits. Fantastic breakfast all well cooked and lovely ingredients- cannot fault the full English - perfect!  On the whole a great place to stay ! I will definitely look to book again.

New Years Eve 2 night stay

Just stayed here for the first time as a group of 4 in 2 train rooms. 
What an excellent guest house. Vanessa and Paul were really welcoming and very friendly. The rooms were both very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Absolutely no downsides to the stay at all and will certainly be returning.

Excellent guest house

Just back from a couple of nights in Dolly Waggon and what a lovely B&B it is!

As a solo traveller I had booked a single room and wow it was so far beyond what I expected.  The room was spacious, the bed a small double and with a petit en suite too.  Great selection of hot drinks to choose from and an extra blanket on the bed for those chilly nights.

Breakfast was absolutely delicious and Vanessa and Paul were really lovely hosts.  I definitely hope to visit again.

Special thanks to Vanessa for letting me borrow an umbrella as it was absolutely pouring.

2nd time at Dolly Waggon Guest House (must tell you something).
Fantastic hosts who look after you from when you check in until you check out.. check in/out times just right.
Beautiful rooms with excellent facilities and lovely views.
Cooked to order Breakfasts were just wonderful.
Guest house perfectly situated for either walk into town..drive to beautiful places or to be able to hop on the buses .
Highly recommended
10/10 for everything... couldn't fault any of it.
Will be back again soon

Brilliant stay at a fantastic guest house

I’ve just returned from my stay at this guest house in Cumbria and it was amazing!! A lovely warm, welcoming guest house in a great location, both near the centre of Keswick and near some other great locations in The Lakes. Really clean, amazing breakfast. Would highly recommend!
