Stayed in room 1 and 2. The views are incredible and such a beautiful garden. From the property, we went on a hike to Blencathron and the Cumbrian Way, which was spectacular. The village is really lovely and quiet, wild rabbits everywhere and also a great pub, The Horse and Farrier. The room was clean and more than adequate for us. The beds were super comfy and it's nice that they have a microwave, toaster and kettle in the room, as well as a fridge and some plates and cutlery if you do want to eat in the room.  We slept like logs as it's so quiet. We would definitely stay here again as it's a short hop to the main towns, yet none of the hustle and bustle.

Stunning views, super comfy beds and pure peace

The Bungalows is in an absolutely gorgeous location, you  wake up each morning to be greated by the mountains in front of your room.
The bed is the comfiest we've ever slept in. The room is perfectly thought out with microwave,  refrigerator,  cutlery and crockery, they've even provided a bottle opener.
It's calm, and peaceful and it feels like there is no one else around.
The owners are easily contactable ( my fiancé got in touch as soon as we got here to book us an extra night).
We would definitely recommend staying here, and will definitely be coming back.

Comfiest beds we've ever slept in

We stayed in the bungalow with the kitchen and had the most relaxing and peaceful time. The room was equipped with everything you could need. Beautifully decorated throughout- the room dripped luxury. From beautiful curtains, to gorgeous towels. You could tell that everything  had really been thought about and done with care. 
Would highly recommend  staying at the bungalows. To sit outside and have breakfast in the morning with the most breathtaking scenery. And then two very close by local pubs for dinner and drinks. 
The perfect get away for those wanting to escape the chaos of city lives.

Smart, clean and with everything you need in a room. 
With spectacular Mountain View’s and two walkable pubs in the village with various walking routes surrounding you it’s the perfect location. Just brilliant.

All that you need…

Perfect! The room was clean, warm and comfortable and the  view from the patio was stunning. A very peaceful setting with private parking outside.  This is a good base for fell walking and exploring the northern Lakes, with direct access to the Blencathra trails. We will return!

Relaxing mini break

Amazing location and views. The view from the living area is just perfect, Threlkeld is a great base for walking with good pubs and lovely community coffee shop. Right at the base of Blencathra which looms above the front of the house. We stayed in self catering bungalow which for perfect for a small family. Very reasonable pricing, the odd fixture and fitting needs attention but barely noticeable 

Location and views spot on

The views and amenities are absolutely perfect couldn't have asked for a better location to Blencathra either. Staying in vale view and it’s lovely, not too much space but perfect for 2 people, also pubs close by which is always handy

Absolutely fantastic

The room was absolutely amazing, very clean and cosy. 
We had everything we needed and more and it was just a 10 minute walk to the nearest pub, one of which serves great food 
The mountain view of Great Dodd every morning was delightful. I will be staying here again for sure

Posted images below of the views we arrived to outside the living room window. Breathtaking! Everything was pristine in terms of cleanliness, parking right outside and two lovely pubs down the hill. Will be leaving a separate view for the horse and farrier pub as again, that was wonderful. So we had dinner there on both nights. Posted a picture of ‘Airo Force’ waterfall, a 16 min drive away and then we drove onto to Ullswater village to the pier for lunch. But there’s so many walks nearby. 

We will definitely be coming back, so quiet, just what we needed!

Wonderful mini break

Rooms are always kept clean and tidy. The place is fantastic I've been back twice now because it's so nice you always feel welcome the views are outstanding. I was up for there for four days it was perfect place to stop
