Stayed 1 night in the on suite room, lovely comfy bed with vintage furniture,  
Room was spotless. Mathew was a friendly host making sure we where happy with the room ,continental breakfast provided , great location (, Mathew you need to charge more ) I have stayed in 4 different kettlewell  and this place is my 2nd favorite .😀

Matt was such a lovely host, beautiful house, amazing views from our room, breakfast was absolutely delicious. We felt so at home and so did our dogs! We will definitely return in the summer.... we have camped at kettlewell before for the walking but we will just have to come back and stay here... thank you Matt so very much for making our Christmas mini break relaxing :)

Beautiful Christmas mini break

Just checking my past posts in TripAdvisor and did not see my review of this B&B from a year ago. I actually stayed there in October 2017. Kettlewell is one of my favorite towns on my trip around the north. Matt was an excellent host providing recommendations for places to eat in town and for a history of the village. Stayed here four nights and was never bored with the walks and things to do in the area; the walk to Arncliff was spectacular.  All the meals were excellent in town, especially the fresh pheasant in puff pastry at the Blue Bell Inn.  Not sure why this B&B is not rated higher of the places in Kettlewell. The rooms are fine and clean, the common room is very comfortable and breakfast every morning was great. Other reviews note that it’s hard to find but just follow Matt’s directions to the church (Plus Kettlewell is not that big).  And I did not notice the church bells at all; but the inside of the church is worth a look. One side note, if having tea go to Zarinas which is vastly superior to the other tea shop in town.

Very comfortable B&B

The B&B is well priced and in the middle of Kettlewell. It has the feel of your granny's house - I'm not sure any of the contents have changed this century, and the furnishings certainly haven't. That said, Matt is a nice host and the fundamentals were all fine. As others have noted, the bells of the next door church chime all night, which disrupted my fiancee's sleep, and the rooms have no locks.

Like your granny's house

This B&B was very difficult to find and parking was a challenge in space in front of the property. Location was very good in middle of the village. There was a nice lounge for use of guests with a TV. The twin room I stayed in was adequate although the beds were uncomfortable. Fresh milk was provided for tea. The shared bathroom was roomy but the shower had a lot of black mold in it. Breakfast was skimpy compared to all the other B&B's I stayed in on this road trip. Small portions, no fruit or yogurt. Service was slow yet we felt rushed to leave as our friendly host was busy.

Good village location but one night was enough

We stayed in this b&b as there were 4 of us we had 2 double rooms. One night we had to share a bathroom with another pair. 

Breakfast wasn't included for us but we were given full access to kitchen, fridge etc which was not an issue due to severe food intolerances. 

The house is dated, however had all amenities needed. Lovely place next door to church, we are not heavy sleepers but once asleep didn't hear the church bells once. 

Matthew was a lovely host who gave a lot of advice and was always happy to help. Gave us free run of his home. Thank you!!
