We booked the Loch Tay House. Wow what can we say. The location and views where stunning. The house was amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of paying a visit. Probably the best UK based break we have taken. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. We booked Gorge walking which was great fun albeit hard work and hired a boat for the day which was unfortunately cancelled due to the weather on the last day, but money was refunded straight away. The Boathouse restaurant was a great place to eat and the service superb. Could not recommend this place enough. Apologies to the staff for accidently taking the key it's being posted back recorded delivery as I speak !

We loved this place so much !

We stayed in one of the superior en-suite pods with a hot tub. The pod was very clean and had the basic necessities - hand soap, dish soap, hand towel, cups, cutlery, plates/bowls and pans. I think the only thing missing from the pod is just somewhere to hang your coat. It’s Scotland - it rains - it’s just tricky to dry out coats if there is nowhere to hang them.

Hot tub was wonderful - we were provided with 4 bags of wood on the first night and ended up using almost all of the wood to get it up to temperature. We bought and extra bag for each of the next two nights - they were so well insulated that even in October, that was enough to get them warmed back up.

We booked a self driven boat on the loch and that was such an amazing day - the whole family loved it!

Lots of wildlife around, great little play park for the kids.

Wonderful stay

Fantastic amenities , the woodland cabin was clean on arrival and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. We ate at the Boathouse restaurant twice on our stay and the food and service were fantastic both times. There are plenty of walks around the site and up Ben Lawers so our Labrador (Hamish) was well walked.

Fantastic stay and not for the first time.

We arrived on Saturday night and realised we had no hot tub, when we had upgraded to a hot tub as a back up plan incase we weren’t able to get out on our paddleboards. When I went to the reception on the Sunday morning, the lady in reception could not have been more friendly and helpful. (Maggie)
She apologised and refunded us the upgrade and arranged to move us for our final night when one was available. She explained that it was an error with booking.com and I emailed the information over to help her deal with the mix up. The men that helped us with the logs for the hot tub had a good laugh with (or maybe at) us! All in all, a beautiful place with spectacular views and outstanding staff. The outdoor shop in Killin couldn’t have been more helpful also, definitely give them a visit when you go! 10/10

we had a great time  the only thing was people set off fireworks on 5th November at night apart from that everything was great  so the dogs where not good at all the food in the restaurant is good cant wait ill we go back again

great holiday

Great visit to Loch Tay Highland Lodges for half term - stayed in Eldersburn Lodge, immaculately clean and well equipped. Felt very indulgent with hot tub, stove and deck with those amazing views. Swam in Loch then warmed up in hot tub! Bliss. Lovely staff and facilities too. Frisbee golf good fun. Thanks v much!

Ps - hot tubs are filled on check in day so not guaranteed to be ready on your first night's stay... Understandable to fully clean it, but we hadn't read the small print, kids rocked up expecting to jump right in. Just a heads up for others!

Wonderful stay for February half term

Stayed in the dog friendly Coppermine lodge over Xmas 2022. Fantastic lodge, which looks like it has recently been refurbished as interior does not match the photos on Largo Leisure website. Much nicer now. New bathroom, (nice hot shower, which is a little noisy) new sofas, new beds, new carpets, very well equipped kitchen, electric radiators kept us nice and warm. Great views, fantastic site and wonderful staff, we got stuck on the hill on the ice and the grounds man came down and gritted the road and rescued us from sliding backwards into the fence. Staff on Reception also lent us a bread knife from their own kitchen as there wasn’t one in the lodge. Loads to do in the surrounding area, would highly recommend.

Coppermine Lodge, Loch Tay

Spent two nights in the bothy as a group of 6 and it was great. Plenty of space for everyone, great kitchen facilities, warm and clean on arrival and the hot tub was ready to use straight away. A bag of firewood was provided for the burner. The only thing worth noting is that during heavy snow the driveway to the bothy itself can become impassable for vehicles (through no fault of site management) but there is parking at the main reception building a short walk away.

The Bothy

Our Glamping pod was very clean and had everything we needed for a restful break away. Staff were very helpful when needed but also gave space to relax and chill out. Also had a lovely meal in the Boathouse as part of our stay. Staff were very attentive and responsive. We would definitely go back, thanks.

Great break

We stayed in the Waterfall lodge. 
The whole experience was fabulous. The highlights were waking up to that view, the waterfall next to our lodge was jaw dropping and we even waded in a few times during our stay even though we visited in October. The onsite restaurant food was also worth a visit and the woodland walk was great ! 
4 🌟 out of 5 🌟. 
The let down was the cleanliness of the lodge itself, which I would rate a 3 🌟 but overall we give it 4 ✨
