Lovely guest house. The rooms were homely, comfy and clean. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and breakfast was amazing. At the end of a long day cycling it was a joy to stay here I would recommend to anyone. Thank you to Craig for the help with the bikes ☺️

Friendly, comfy and clean guest house

Booked in last minute with 3 friends to avoid camping after a very wet bike ride. The owners were very welcoming and couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. They even had a drying room for our wet gear! When we said we were leaving before breakfast they offered to make us sandwiches to go and made us a pot of coffee and toast. Rooms were warm and comfy. Would recommend this B&B to anyone staying in Killin.

Welcoming and comfortable

Stayed here for one night on our way to Syke. Easy to find on the main road through Killin at one end of this lovely little village. About 15/20 mins walk to the Falls at the other end which are worth a visit and a drink at the pub opposite them. Ate at the Courie Inn in the evening which was great but pre booking advised. Room very clean and nice lounge area to use if you wanted to. We didn’t due to wanting to be Covid safe but in better times would have. Great breakfast with a good choice and very friendly owners. Would recommend staying here if visiting Killin.

One night stopover

Just back from staying at Ardlochay Lodge with six friends doing a charity cycle. 

Very well run and great set up as we had full use of up stairs of the house. 
So we decided after a hard day on the saddle and after our dinner we made great use of the comfy couches that are set out for the guests we sat and had a good chat and couple beers and relaxed before our last day cycle to Pitlochry. 
Also mention the full English breakfast was amazing with also a selection of fruits and yoghurt’s. 
The couple who run the b&b very friendly and helpful and also like to thank them again for they’re donation the the charity we were raising funds for which was a very nice gesture.

Great  B&B

My partner Nicola and I stayed 2nights as Nicola was taking part in Glen Ogle ultra marathon. Ardlochay Lodge is lovely and room and lounge/dining area were so clean and immaculate. The owners Carlotta and Craig were so friendly and helpful. There are 3 rooms all ensuite and all residents were involved with ultra marathon. It started at 8.00am on Saturday so Carlotta made breakfast at 6.30am which was such a kind gesture. Nicola and I would have no hesitation in staying there again in which is a lovely part of the country.

First Class, highly recommended

Everything was clean, breakfast was fantastic & the hosts were friendly & helpful. 

I found our room to be very small and absolutely the worse bed I have ever tried to sleep in. The room is upstairs and the steps are steep.

Killin itself was charming but the B&B is almost 1 mile from town. 

It was nice but...

Really nice professional set up they have here. You won't be disappointed with the accommodation.  
Great wee village in the heart of Scotland. Superb stepping off point to any local mountains.

Great B and B

This B and B is situated at the far end of Killin with a 20 minute walk to the other end which is The Falls of Dochart Inn, and everything else within a 5 or 10 minute walk, the Coach House however is practically next door to the Ardlochay and is really charming and cozy with great food at good prices and live entertainment at the weekends.  The Ardlochy itself is immaculate, and the dormer ensuite rooms are lovely, opening onto a shared sitting area, again immaculate and comfortable.  Breakfast is fantastic, with a very impressive breakfast menu, including the full Scottish.  I would say this has to be the best value for money B and B in Killin and I would not hesitate to stay at the Ardlochy again.

It was a little difficult to find this Lodge using our gps which took us nearby. The sign on the road actually says Ardlochay B&B and is right at the beginning of Killin. It was quite a walk along the main road to get to the town centre.
Our bedroom was fairly basic but adequate. The stairs up to it were rather steep. The bed was rather soft and uncomfortable, and although the shower was fine, the bathroom fan was very noisy. I'm afraid the towels didn't smell very nice.
The breakfast was good and we had delicious omelettes, well done to the cook!
