This apartment has been taken over by new owners 6 months ago who has been running it as a serviced accommodation. There are a lot of reviews on booking com and on air Bnb. All reviews are excellent. The property has been completely refurbished and renovated, with a new central heating system and professional operation in place. The apartment benefits from washing machine, dishwasher, two double bedrooms, Netflix and 24-7 point of contact. Amazing place to stay, thoroughly recommend.

Better than a hotel

The apartment is small but suitable for a few nights to rest your head and cook basic things. It’s however a very damp apartment, noticeable as soon as you walk in. The sofa doesn’t seat four and is very low to the ground, not particularly comfortable. There’s also only one mirror in the apartment, not easy for getting ready. 

A taxi into Kings Lynn is only £6 and it’s within good reach of the passenger ferry. 

The big negative for our stay was the neighbour upstairs, very loud and noisy - banging around, throwing things into the small hours (they kept us up till 3/4am) I assumed they were weight lifting with the amount of noise and big loud regular bangs/drops. 

A nice enough apartment, but not sure if I’d return.

Good place to rest your head

New mattress and heaters meant we had a good sleep.. we were both exhausted from a lot of travelling and we were doing the same thing the next day. 

The kettle and toaster meant we could enjoy a brew before bed and toast and tea in the morning. 🍞☕️(Although we spread our butter with spoons as the kitchenette wasn't fully equipped)

Unfortunately there was nowhere to hang our suits (for the funeral) so we compromised with chairs. 

Luckily we weren't here to chill out as the reclining sofa was broken, and a dining chair was in pieces in the corner.  

We decided not to open the blinds as they had been tucked up where they were broken at the tops. 

The shower was nice and hot but the thin shower curtain didnt reach the bottom so water was everywhere and a the floor and walls looked water damaged from repeated issues. 

This was a bargain to rest over night but had we not been in the rush to find somewhere, we would not stay here again.

Warmer than camping!

We booked to stay at this property and was very shocked firstly how rude the girl was on the phone giving us instructions about getting into the apartments.  On arriving the outside looked very shabby and neglected but the shock was the interior it was so dirty and what furniture there was was poor quality. I wish I had took photographs but it was late and we needed to find alternative accommodation which thankfully we found. The bathroom was disgusting I wouldn't have washed my shoes in it. Beware the pictures do not reflect the standard of these apartments.
