Chose hotel as have found Premier Inn are consistently good. Location was great for Harry Potter. (We got an Uber there and back, around £8 each way) . Ate at Miller & Carter, excellent meal and service with great menu choice for celiac in our group. Hotel on bus route to shopping centre. Staff were very friendly & accommodating. Hotel room was clean and comfortable.

Great hotel

We came to this hotel last boxing it was perfect, this year found it lacking the personnel touch. We came al so at the end of November. That was much better, so decided to rebook. But I was very disappointed with this stay. We have to stay at premier inn as it’s close to our family in Chipperfield.
The room was cold even putting heating on didn’t warm room. Yes you do get a good nights sleep, but with Covid 19 still around it would be nice if room was more brighter and clean our wasn’t and I requested this room because it has a shower , but I also would like it sparkling CLEAN!!!
Now the breakfast. Last time we had a cooked breakfast was perfect except poached eggs was swimming in water so didn’t taste good. This time no water BUT!!!! Hard boiled instead soft. Not edible.if I wanted hard boiled eggs I would have asked. I actually asked for soft. There was only one person clearing the tables and only did them when someone needed a table. Also drinks machine keep stopping had to wait ages for it to be done, plus fruit juices and other stuff needed filling but that took ages to. Do I thing breakfast is value for money NO 

Boxing Day overnight

I had a fantastic three-night stay at this hotel. The parking was incredibly convenient, making my arrival hassle-free. The staff were not only lovely but also exceptionally helpful, ensuring that my experience was enjoyable.

While I appreciated the overall quality of my stay, my only concern was the additional charge of £5 per day for fast Wi-Fi, which I did choose to pay. Despite this, the positive aspects of the hotel overshadowed this minor inconvenience, and I would still recommend it to others.

Great Location

We received a warm welcome, and it was down hill from there. The room was freezing cold, so we turned up the heating and it took a while for the room to warm up. 
The room smelt damp. It also had a single bed in the room and that smelt strongly of damp. It was unpleasant. The bathroom tap squrted in 3 different directions, making it challenging to use. There was also a hole in the duvet cover. Overall it was not up to standard. On a positive note,  the bed was comfy.

On the whole a pleasant night's accommodation but slightly marred by a couple of issues:

The WORST THING - only 3 hangers!  There were 2 of us and we had been out in the rain the whole morning, so we needed to hang up lots of stuff to dry.  Only 3 hangers.  I thought - no problem, just ask the chap on Reception.  "Oh, we don't give out hangers.  We used to, but we don't any more."  I explained the problem & told him we really needed them, he looked doubtful - the exact opposite of a "Can Do" attitude.   I asked him to investigate.  We heard no more from him.  NOT GOOD!

Breakfast - very nice (well, we did pay £20 for it) except:
--  Why machine coffee?  Why not the option of  cafetieres?
-- Almost white, tasteless scrambled egg.  Made with egg & milk powder??

Mainly good, but a couple of issues

Really poor service and dirty rooms. Asked multiple times if we could have fresh towels and tea and coffee cups as we were staying for more than one night. Breakfast room had as many people packed in as possible, and was very very low quality. Again staff very reluctant to help.

Disappointed as this was not our first stay here, but doubt be would stay again now.

The premier inn product is exceedingly similar across its hotels yet at Kings Langley the absolutely perfect execution and service delivery resulted in a breakfast service which rivalled and perhaps even exceeding the expectations of a much higher category of hotel.
We arrived late night and received an extremely friendly and helpful welcome.

Fantastically friendly and effective staff

Taking Grand children to visit Harry Potter, their first experience of staying for a few days in a hotel. They loved it, staff were friendly and rooms were comfy. Excellent location for access to London too!

From the staff to the comfort and breakfast bar it's right up there with the best hotels in the country

Ideal for Harry Potter World and a fantastic little village to have a walk around if you have time. Did I mention the Staff? Fantastic 

Best Premier inn around

A rating of 1 is too good for this hotel.  I have severe asthma and arrived lateish to find thick black mould around all sides of the brick around the window.  Used wipes to remove this as it was removable, so not cleaned properly.  Awoke this morning to find mould all over the walls next to where ive slept.  This is absolutely disgusting
