This was the best backpacking campsite along the WHW.  Flat pitches, amazing showers and a very efficient drying room. Small covered eating area too and very handy for the town.  The staff were friendly and efficient and the price was about right. 10/10

Excellent WHW camping 

Have stay in the hostel often, this time we stayed in one of the pods. 
Fabulous! 
Cosy, well appointed with fridge, kettle, TV, microwave and spotlessly clean! 

If in Kinlochleven, look no further! Get it booked. 

Fabulous stop on the West Highland Way 

We got there on thursday night,drenched and wind battered,nikki managed to get a washing done for us as our gear was soaked.the showers are fantastic after a cold wet day on the hill.went to town for dinner,but used the kitchen next morning for breakfast.perfect for us.all in all if youChe are a walker this is the very place you need,shout out to Chelsea very chatty and friendly

Stayed in a glamping pod for the night, really enjoyed my stay:
Location - stunning, sound of the waterfall outside and right on the WHW

Amenities - the pod was so so cozy with everything you needed, picnic table outside, yale lock for security, heating, fan, microwave, tv, fridge etc, amazing.

Toilets were very close by and very clean, i did take off a star for the showers though :( not warm enough and having the constantly push the button, was not ideal.

Service - very friendly on arrival and cannot fault

I would honestly recommend to amyone in the area

Fantastic glamping pod!

Lovely place! We stayed in a couple of pods and they were just what we were looking for. Good base for going off hiking. Nice and clean as were the toilets and showers. Very friendly and helpful staff. We'll be back! 

All we needed 

This is a decent hostel with good facilities. The kitchen and drying room are worthy of particular mention. Handily located on the WHW and for the village centre. 
I can only assume the lady we dealt with had had a very bad day. I'm sorry if that's the case but when my 9 near old nephew asked me why the lady hated us I had to laugh. Such a shame that my lasting memory of the place will be the surly and unwelcoming attitude of the staff.

Surely an off day?

The location is very beautiful. The kitchen is very furnished (like a restaurant) so it is convenient if you are cooking yourself.
The place has been hard to find at night because the GPS was not working very well and there is no reception at night and no one was picking up the phone to help us with directions.

Very nice facility but be careful not to get lost at night

I stayed in Pod 2 for one night while walking the WHW, it was just what I needed. Showers and toilets very clean and not far from the pod, pod was very comfortable and a 10 minute blast of the heater was all I needed to get the pod nice and toasty before bed. I had camped along the route before this and I am so glad I booked the pod because I needed that little bit of comfort ahead of Day 7 to Fort William. Owners were really kind and let me check in a bit early because it happened to be ready which I really appreciated.

Pod was a welcome bit of comfort after camping. Clean and professional site, highly recommend.

The 4 of us found the 2 bunk room with small bathroom to be perfectly adequate for our 1 night stay.  The kitchen/dining space was clean and functional 

We had expensive bikes which unfortunately could not be locked indoors so we used our own locks to attach them to the back of the building to a staircase outside the owners accommodation having being reassured they would be fine here

If the owners could provide an indoor lockup for cyclists  I am sure would tempt more people to using this great little hostel

First time with Mountain Bikes

My favourite place to stay during my whw. I booked a 2 person pod for myself (book in advance to get a good rate). I was in pod 2 that looked out into the river. The pod was clean, well insulated and very warm, I never needed to use the heater at all. It has two single beds, microwave, kettle and fridge. Showers and toilets for pod users are a 10 second walk away in the building accessible via door code. Toilets and showers were very clean though the showers are the kind you have to press the button every 7 seconds to get water! I had a great sleep, staff were friendly and recommended places to eat etc. It is directly on the whw so no need to go searching for your hotel etc. There was a small window which had a midge net on the other side so I could keep that open for ventilation. If there are 2 of you and both have suitcases it would maybe be a little cramped. Would recommend, like being in a hobbit house!
